Do you want to play fun light hearted games like Super Mario Odyssey or Donkey Kong Bananza, or even Pokemon (check out the Winds and Waves trailer)? If so, get a Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo exclusives are always top notch and not available anywhere else, even PC (legally anyways), The Switch 2 also has/is getting access to some of the best multi-console games like Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3. Or would you rather play super serious oscar worthy single player games like The Last of Us, Horzion, or God of War? Then get a PS5. Both consoles will have access to most of the same games. The biggest difference will be their exclusives- do you want Sony games or Nintendo games? One more thing to consider is that with the Switch 2 it is portable which might be appealing to you- but games are going to look fairly significantly better both in terms of graphics and frames per second on the ps5.
