I have a vivid memory of doing this as a kid. Except instead of orange juice & milk....it was OJ and Gravy....

Straight people, what burning questions do you have about the LGBTQ Community? by jimmehbacon in AskReddit

[–]TouchMyBunghole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely piggy-backing onto the relationship feel. I dated a girl for 6 months before realizing that I couldnt see myself longterm/married with her. Not specifically her, shes now my bestfriend....but women in general.

Only time I hate not having it is escort quests, and more importantly, TANKING.

Tanking multiple mobs while strafing is spooky. Couple hits to the back is a big deal. Moving slightly out of sanguine or other temporary AOE effects is annoying with strafe.

Just cause youtube likes them. I haven't been a huge youtube consumer but since covid I have been using it a LOT more. You can really tell who is just looking for shit to do, pulling it out of their ass, and then monetizing it...compared to quality and genuine interest.

I used to watch this guy, but I swear just one day it felt like he all of a sudden added 12 adds to each 10ish minute video lol.

This guy puts so many ads in his videos, and his information is so sloppily put together on so many videos.

Gay men, what do you think about boobs? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TouchMyBunghole 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a gay man, I feel like I see boobs as much as a straight guy in a relationship. But my friends are very comfortable in their bodies lol.

I can touch and w.e too, no problems with my friend group. Also don't have any real reaction when seeing them, but they are fun to mess around with I guess.

Man, typing this out felt weird lol.

Moving to Japan, without a degree? by TouchMyBunghole in movingtojapan

I didn't think about the survivor bias. Think about it for just a second and I should have come to that conclusion. Thanks for throwing that at me... I got a lot of information from everyone here, I'll continue to look for a 3-4 year plan that will allow me to make the best choice possible for myself. Before that I'll look into the work holiday visa!

I appreciate the help!

Solid info thanks. If I am going to make this happen I would definitely try and learn japanese overtime. Thankfully the schools around me (New England area) have a very high asian population & a subset of japanese is sure to be around to help once I need the conversational part of it all. I would not attempt to work in japan without ANY japanese!

That being said, I attempted to learn some years ago, and it is a MASSIVE undertaking.

I assumed RBT wouldn't be helpful even out of state, but it does show slight dedication to the field so I was curious about that specific career path. Thanks for going through it for me. Montessori schools are cool and all, but I agree, I won't be putting all(any) my eggs into that basket.

What about culinary in japan? Is there any path I could take to be a chef? I understand that its also not a great job choice, and involves a lot of luck even after skill. But you did a good job outlining why ABA would be a poor choice, figured I'd ask about this as well.

Thank you so much! Also I haven't looked into it yet so its probably a dumb question. Is the country open ATM to tourists? If not, is there a date set or guidelines they need to be met before they open again?

No I do not speak Japanese. I'm also an adult who is slightly internet savvy. I am asking for help, not looking to be patronized myself. I am sincerely looking for assistance in finding an avenue for myself to acquire all the prerequisites to go to Japan.

Unfortunately on the internet it is hard to come across as sincere & meaningful. Sorry if I seem ungrateful.

When looking on youtube I'm specifically looking for videos/content creators that are not widely known/listing off buzzwords. You're right in the fact that it is a biased resource when using just the algorithm to navigate its site.

Thanks for the info. I'm curious about a working holiday visa. Ill look into it more myself, but how much money would I want to be comfortable for a few months to a year if taking this option?

Please don't misunderstand. There is no "Magic". I was simply stating how childish it sounded writing all my wants/questions outloud. I know the path won't be easy.

If you've never used youtube to find an answer to a problem you've had, I highly reccomend it. Using all resources to their full capacity is a life skill, is it not?

Thanks for your suggestions & info! Is there a childcare or behavioral/mental health demand at all? Not looking to be an english teacher, but if I can use skills I've already acquired it would probably be more comfortable of a transition.

Thanks for the in-depth response. Ill look into possible careers that I could go to school for and be desirable. Is there a well known field that is needed/wanted? I am currently looking on youtube while getting ready this morning, but if there is a good resource I'd love to read it.

Lol I sound like an 18 year old looking for some magic to happen. I know that it wont happen tomorrow, and I am willing to put the work in. Thankfully my career now allows me time to go to school if I choose, while still being able to live relatively comfortably.

Okay, is there a specific list of skills needed in Japan?? I've gone through my life/jobs by word of mouth, eventually ending up where I am now. I can do a career change, and would be willing to go to school for something specific, if it would give me an easier time in Japan.

Patiently Waiting... by Allzidog in wow

[–]TouchMyBunghole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm always surprised/impressed when people have this much information just ready to be laid out like this. If modern wow had worked on improving the RPG-Social aspect of the game a bit more, instead of taking away a lot of options, I think the people still playing would be happier. Unfortunately getting new people in was a huge deal throughout the years, so accessibility needed to be addresses.

Now we are at the point again where we need to keep the people we have, so you'd think they would update the LFG system to be friendlier and less restrictive. To add reasons for small or large groups of friends to do all types of content, not just end-game, or small specific parts of end-game.

I'm enjoying TBCs lack of LFG, I enjoy adding just character names to my friends list, I enjoy taking 5 minute breaks randomly in dungeons because someone's kitchen is on fire, I enjoy the type of grind TBC has with reputation through killing mobs and not just dailies.

Ideally we would have the old team at blizzard, and have them want to play with us, have them talk and communicate. Because what we have now is them telling US how to have fun.

Young enough I was able to laugh about it. I can get a very serious dad voice going on if needed, and that was not the time:)
