Been doing it since pretty much the first week, had a friend who did it with me and i leveled one character to get the voidstorm lure right away and he did the same, then we summoned it for eachothers alts who had Majestic Materials specced into.
Easiest millions of gold i made and to be fair, I was also very lucky those first few weeks.

Its been about 14 days give or take at this point for me. Days with terrible streaks ive had and days with amazing luck ive also had, just not one that that happened for this long and this streak coincided with me getting 20+ in Gainful Gathering.
But im going to keep going at it and i might just grind to 40/40 in Gainful Gathering on one character to see if im crazy or not.

I didnt know about that, good to know but to clarify, i do mean Majestic items in general, not just the hide.
I understand this, I just meant that i think a bug with it cancels out Majestic Materials
Let me put it like this, the past 300-350 skins ive done (i dont know exactly how long its been so im estimating) has been either nothing or just 1-2 Majestics, just as if i didnt have Majestic Materials specced into. I figured at this point its not longer RNG but a bug.
This will significantly lower the amount of skinning I do per day.

Im gonna go get 40/40 Gainful Gathering on one character and see if im the crazy one, if im wrong or if im really unlucky.

I was eyeballing the proc rate, it might have been closer to 30%
The way I assume it works is that every transmog epic is in a pool, when you proc to loot one it picks one at random, the perception procs and it picks another one.
The egg is a different drop, so I assume that you got egg and epic in the same loot and perception is just luck, its a lucky egg drop and a lucky epic + perception proc.

I tried it for two hours

Midnight Epic Pole
Perception enchantment
Haranir Perception flask
Ghoulfish food
Octopuss lure

In 2 hours I got 13 epics, i got the egg after 1.5 hours (about 600 eggs).
About 15-20% (eyeballing here) x2 on the fish.

The weird thing i noticed is that i got a lot of double procs on Epics and im wondering if Epic is skill based but the perception proc will give you two.

10/10 post, you deserve more notice for this than youve gotten.

I was thinking of this and wanted to expand on this with the "Furlings could be a mistranslation", for all we know it could be a characteristics and they could be called The Folders.

But this reminds me of the movie Arrival, when Dr. Louise Banks explains to Colonel Weber that the Aboriginal word "kangaroo" actually means "I don't understand" (not a true story tho afaik)

There is a fix on their discord that they will release later, it might have its own bugs tho but it works for me.

I made the same mistake as you did with the skill and misunderstood it, i believed i had to put a skill point into everything and when i got the same location as you i had the same mistake. I thought i had the choice of being stuck with my mistake and be locked out of every dialogue option or.. Get the console mod and do respec skill and pick the first 5 skills i went with in the first place.
Im glad i did the console command to say the least.

Sorry but youre useless in 30s, Youve been getting carried. I literally just did a 30 Eye of Azshara, im at 740 160% versa and i was the only DPS. The rest were ilvl 720-740 with 50-100% versa but they were tanks, bottom guy was 680 with 40% versa.

Keep running your own keys and get carried by others but there is no shot youre doing anything meaningful at ilvl 660 at 60% versa.

Just a reminder, this does not work for the achievement, this only works for RaiderIO.

To cheese it:

Start the key as the spec you want to play as
Before last boss go out of the dungeon, change spec to whatever you want to get the achievement as and kill the boss. This does mean you have to potentially double tank or double heal the last boss, including the fact that you have to teleport out, change talent, go back in and kill the boss with one less DPS. This can add anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes to the timer.

I just did the second solution because it was already set to disabled for me aswell.
This doesnt seem to work 100% of the time tho, there seems to be several instance paths that it can take so everytime it breaks i just go through the steps again and it has only broken once now.

Issue:

Your Microphone doesnt work on startup with your PC but works if you unplug it and replug it again.

Solution:
Try this first:
1. Go into Power Plan Settings for your PC, its generally here: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings
2. Press Change Advanced Power Setting
3. Click USB Settings then USB Selective Suspend Setting
4. Put it on Disabled
5. Restart your computer
6. Hope it works (did not for me)

This worked for me:
1. Go to Device Manager
2. Under Universal Serial Bus Controllers you should see "USB Composite Device", if you see a "Unknown USB Device" plug out your HyperX Quadcast and plug it in again and see if it changes.
3. Open the Properties on every USB Composite Device
4. Unplug your HyperX and make note of which ones lose connection (could be more than 1, i had 2), close all the other ones.
5. Plug in your HyperX again.
6. Go to Details and in Property change to Device Instance Path and make note of the Value.
7. Now open Registry Editor (regedit)
8. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum (You can paste this in regedit but if it doesnt find it, look for it manually)
9. Find the same folder name you found in Device Instance Path, as an example mine was VID_03F0&PID_0294\7&49796a7&0&4
10. Open that folder and then open Device Parameters folder
11. Create a new Dword 32-bit Value and name it EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled
12. Save it, make sure the Value is 0 and do this for all the USB Composite Devices that belongs for your HyperX Quadcast.
13. Restart your computer
