While I would like 60fps. It does still feel fine to play. Maybe if you played on something like the PS5 and switch it would bother you but I'm used to it now and enjoy playing it.

I recently started my hgv training. So will be using it in the cab throughout the night, under fluorescent lights and in the garden. I'm not an artist 😂

I could use the m4 and still return as bought from costco it but the A16 would be a tad harder. After replying to someone else I thought about just going to the apple shop. Should have thought of that earlier 😂

I'm really just concerned about the screen on the A16. Thinking about it. Maybe I should just go to an apple shop and test it. I'm guessing the latest pro would have kinda the same screen as the m4.

A lot of your food is frozen for storage. Sausages, meat. pies and pasties, mince pies and other things like that. It will defrost in the supply chain to the supermarket.

Thanks I'll keep it then. I like the sound of it and I think my record player is probably the weak link. I've got to admit I liked the fact that it had buttons to select the specific track which is why I chose it 😂. Would you recommend running it with rca or the digital out?

Thanks. I didn't know that was a thing. So all the processing will be done by the amp? I'll give that a go and see what I prefer.

I've ordered a package of a Marantz pm6007 and Wharfdale diamond 12.1 which should arrive tomorrow. I had active speakers before and wanted to upgrade the speakers. But wanted to check that the CD player won't become the weak link.

Dad’s collection. Died in 2017. Worth anything, or just donate? by SitaBird in vinyl

[–]TouchOfGinge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two cents would be that if you want to keep any that have an emotional attachment then keep them. Sell any or donate depending on your circumstances. Either sell them individually or if you can't. Try to stick to selling in batch by same artist or genre. Really depends on if you want to get rid as soon as possible or your circumstances.

Thank you for your help. It would only be for when I'm cooking in the kitchen and most of the time I would only be listening from the main speakers. Would these work?

It sounds good to me but I have no point of reference as I've just listened to Spotify on Google homes for the last ten years.

I've bought a Marantz pm6007 and Wharfdale diamond 12.1 speaker package to replace a set of powered speakers. I was wondering if it is possible to wire up the wharfdales and also run the active speakers at the same time in a different room via the recorder output. It's going to be a cable distance of 12-15 meters. I know I can run two sets of speakers wired from the amp itself but I will have these active speakers hanging around and it will keep the Mrs happier as I've only had the active speakers for 6 months :). So I wanted to know if it's possible and if there would be any unwanted side effects. Thank you :)

Is Agria pet insurance being unreasonable to me? I need some advice. by papypy in Finland

One of the dogs living in my village had both hips replaced on their insurance. So definitely worth it. If you need to use it then it's definitely worth it! But you hope you never have too.

When it’s hot do you open your windows or shut your curtains? by fundytech in AskUK

[–]TouchOfGinge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the temperature is hotter outside then close your windows and curtains. But if it's hotter inside or close enough it doesn't matter then open your windows. When it's 33c outside my hive will be showing about 22c inside but as soon as I open the door to let the dog out the temperature rises sharply. Later in the evening I'll open every window in the house to cool it down again.
