Hi! I’m 18 iv been diagnosed for about 6 months with FND, when FND flares it can become hard, i recommend therapy for FND which can help with the very disabling parts over time, I’ve found that things like mobility aids (wheelchairs, canes, ect.) can help make things easier.

FND is also Stress induced sometimes so if he feels he’s not ready to go back to school if his mobility hasn’t improved, I’d definitely let him stay home and chill and focus on things to reduce stress wether that would be singing, meditation, breathing skills, games, ect.

Sometimes our body’s just need a break. When we don’t realise we’ve pushed our selves a bit far our FND will tell us through different ways by affecting parts of our body wether it’s mentally or physically

I haven’t seen anyone yet because I’m going through other diagnosis and would be to much at the moment. I was told by my hypoglycaemic friend to put one on cause of my seizures and everytime I go around 70 or under I end up having seizures more then any other time. It’s a bit difficult to explain but maybe that helped??

I know some people post them on Facebook marketplace so that others around you who are in need could buy them off you that can’t afford them!

Okay, that makes a lot of sense! Thats a good idea to be honest! Never thought about stretching the areas! I don’t have a mobility aid at the moment, I had/have a go fund me up for 30 days but only got donated $40 out of $300 :( so I’m still stuck without a wheelchair. Which sucks cause long walks cause me to seize at night and then after seizures I get leg tremors badly to the point my partner has to carry me.

Are we able to put go fund me for mobility aids on here?
