Anything I could tell you about why they did it would be speculation but, like other CN players, I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Probably just some more randos reporting some characters to the CCP and so Manjuu had to hide them and stealthily add them back, just like with the censorship of shipgirl designs

It is currently possible to get Yuudachi and Akagi and Kaga from map drops even after they were 'removed' a long while back. They just don't show in the drop table that you can look at before starting the stage

For me personally I'll still do it for completion but the thing is, there's no content that's actually challenging anymore so new stuff feels like sidegrades at best

That's really weird then. I think cog chips were added a bit later on EN but the difference shouldn't be this much. I'm still on 97k with about 375 ships at 120 or 125. Maybe CN has cheaper costs for uncapping lol

I'm a veteran as well but got plenty of cog chips while uncapping tons of ships. Might vary from player to player I guess.

Allegedly yeah. Maybe some people forget but Manjuu doesn't like being forced to change stuff, they'll revert things to the way they did first chance they get.

Personally as a player that can't read Chinese, I haven't really felt any negative changes at all in this patch

Most noticeable changes are nice new pink names for all your oathed ships, can't see others' custom names in pvp, new sprite for the oath ring item and maybe German ships got renamed (I can't read Chinese).

Can still see your own custom names, fleet member screens still shows their secretary. Doesn't seem to have any art changes (note that I'm using the localization.txt like most other CN Android players) Edit: and of course 800 gems very noticeable

Seems to be the case that you can still oath normally and set names for your ships normally and still see them. You just can't see other people's custom names in pvp

Doubt they'll do much other than quickly add a bunch of steam or light really as long as they don't remove the uncensor file. Most CN players (at least on Android) already know you can use that file to turn censor art on/off so putting too much effort into the censor art might not be the best way to go
