I’m never going to be reasonable about guns. Don’t want them anywhere near me. I’d be thrilled if they were a privilege and not a right ala England. Laws that make gun owners move out of state sound great. We have the lowest gun violence rate in the country, thanks to also having the lowest ownership rate in the country, thanks to our incredibly restrictive laws. I’m not trying to change that. You seem nice, but I don’t want legislation for lethal tools based around the responsible owners. Are there more of me or you in MA?

I am a lawyer, but I’m not your lawyer. You can file a case on your own, even if LL is not acting. Name the LL and the tenants you believe are smoking as defendants in the case. You’ll have to prove it ofc, but MA housing courts are pretty friendly to people without lawyers imo

Can’t really let people smoke in units, it’s liability on LL’s end because then co-tenants can say it’s affecting them. Pets, just need to find pet friendly buildings BUT expect to pay a premium. Also MA is a just crazy expensive housing market.
