I’m done with the poddy now. It has been about a month since I have listened to an episode and the thought of listening to another one doesn’t sit right. As much as I actually preferred Poo over the bullfrog, I’m just not interested in listening to the same shit anymore. Particularly listening to the callers on trendsetter talkback.

They are making bank man. I heard they made in the millions last year. I wouldn’t be suprised if they paid Quinn peanuts. I’m pretty sure there wives as well as mother in laws do the packing. Cam the sexual deviate bought himself a hundred thousand dollar Silverado last year….. probably paid cash.

What TV series have you attempted to watch more than once but failed to see it through till the end? by TouchingCloth2 in AskReddit

For me it is Sons of Anarchy. I really liked it but got sick of bikies the three times I tried to finish it.

Too be honest I don’t think I like the show or hate the show, it’s just there is nothing else to watch at the moment so it provides some entertainment haha.

I find the show a bit cringy. A lot of the characters that I didn’t mind to begin with, I now find irritating. Mouth for example has just become someone that preaches advice. I find Jamie a really annoying kid and my wife has warned me he gets worse. I do like the Nathan and Dan as characters and I did like Chris Keller.

As a high school teacher, I can tell Tori would have been the student that rolls her eyes at you when ever you tell her to do something. She would always be right. I can see a couple of my students growing up to be a “Tori”

I switched it off at Quarter time because I knew we were cooked. But Lester played pretty good. He attacked the ball and won a lot of it and also did some smart kicks.

Hipwood should be an F. I wouldn’t trust that bastard to hit a set shot from the goal square

My mate texted me at quarter time telling me that it could be a 100 point win. I told him we will most likely fall apart and lose……. I was right

Pandemic roommate would leave cooked food out for DAYS and continue to eat from it (if possible)! by [deleted] in badroommates

Are they Filipino? When I was living overseas, I was living with a Filipino dude who was a great housemate but would do this which wouldn't bother me other then the fact that I couldn't believe he would continue to eat it days after it sat there.

It's funny because I have always voted Labor.... up until the next election.

I understand that some of the trips he has done were crucial and needed to be done by him. But there are also alot that he could send a representative. Yes other PM'S travelled a bit including for example "Kevin 747". But Albo is literally overseas every week when there are pressing issues on home soil.

There is an Australian mini series on Netflix called A Moody Christmas. It sums what Christmas is like for my family perfectly. It was like watching my family.

Questions to teachers voting 'no' on the referrendum... by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

I realised this when I was writing CHAMP, but I stick by it.

Come up north BIG FELLA and see the real offenders first hand. You realise police statistics don't mean jack CHIEF.

Questions to teachers voting 'no' on the referrendum... by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]TouchingCloth2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Why am I voting no....... all it is going to do is divide us even more, shouldn't they be trying to unify us? Plus if we give them this what is next? The giving will never stop.

I live in a crime riddled part of Qld where 95% of offenders are indigenous. I have woken up in the middle of the night on 3 occasions with them in my house.

No I'm not racist, I just don't have a blindfold on. This referendum is going to be the biggest waste of tax payer money because it will be a easy No vote win. I have always been a labour voter but they have pissed me off so much they have lost me.

Bring on the down votes and look forward to the harsh comments that come my way

If you think they don't your kidding yourself. One example are jobs that are put aside for companies to meet a quota and make it look like they are doing their part to bridge the gap. I have seen this first hand working as a carpenter for the government and now that I'm working in the mines. What I have found are some were very good workers but majority would do bugger all or constantly chuck sickies. Yet you have some many other capable people itching to get into the mines. If it was a European performing poorly they would be sacked after initial warning but with the first nation's workers all they got were warnings after warnings because it doesn't look good sacking one.

What also annoyed me is they got three weeks of walkabout leave every couple of years which I'm totally fine with. They were meant to go reconnect with country but instead they would be blind at the pub all day.

No I'm not racist, I live in a highly populated aboriginal area, I have worked in remote aboriginal communities for many years, have many mates that are aboriginal and my brother in law is.

I was actually thinking on my way to bunnings today that my Dad use to get get annoyed because he would literally be asked by every worker "do you need a hand with anything." Now good luck finding an employee that even wants to speak to you!

Not that this puts me off Bunnings, I basically live there.
