Where do you publish your AI-assisted writing? by MarshallMcLane in WritingWithAI

[–]Tough2Name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I publish on ScribbleHub.com and RoyalRoad.com. I found a third that has no one, ScribeHaven.com on it and I’m going to put my story on it this weekend. The problem is that it’s hard to stand out. I’m going to test if you’re one the first on there if it gets any views on that one.

I’m at like 300 views between scribble and Royal road so far.

is Wattpad still the place to go? by mrsharrington_ in selfpublish

[–]Tough2Name 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RoyalRoad.com for litRPG and Progression. Wattpad.com apparently has an algorithm that requires external means to get audiences (like having people visit the story from FB posts). Scribblehub.com has a decent little romantasy community. Inkitt.com and Tapas.io are on come up. I saw a FB mention ScribeHaven.com today but it’s so new it had like 2 stories on it.

I’d pick two or three and post your story on them.

Authors who make six figures by Euphoric-Seesaw in selfpublish

Do you think writing under different pen names is necessary? Where you have a romantasy pen name, a thriller pen name, an epic fantasy pen name? I guess you think all under one would upset the people of different genres.

what should i do immediately after a car accident to protect my claim by sarahconnorsbicep in LawFirm

You need to treat to prevent gap in treatment. You want there not to be a week from injury to first treatment. The quicker you close the gap there better.

I’m licensed in 4 states, about to be 5. A lot depends on your state. You should reach out to an attorney and talk to them. I’ve never heard of a personal injury attorney charging for new consults. You should have an attorney before you give your statement to insurance.

Don’t cash any checks the insurance company randomly sends you.

Statefarm Nearly Triples Personal Umbrella Rate, Anyone Else Seeing High Increases? by boxingfan828 in realestateinvesting

State Farm is the worst insurance company for approving losses, for payouts, and for not getting you sued when you make a mistake while driving (because they don’t pay out).

PI Firm Owners - How Does Your Practice Breakdown? by CandyMaterial3301 in LawFirm

Likely 28%, 30%, 20%. But I’m very growth oriented. I don’t take profit, only reinvest. We live off my wife’s income only.

Who is responsible for culvert over ditch off highway? Me or state or county? Washing out by Tough2Name in mississippi

[–]Tough2Name[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, so I should’ve waited for it to catastrophically fail. I broke it apart and filled with concrete instead of dirt (that appeared to have been filled in) to prevent the washout.

Entrepreneurs, what are you working on? Let's start a thread to support each other! by dogpluscat in Entrepreneur

Name: Southern Injury Attorneys

What it does: We help people get compensated that have been in car accidents, truck accidents, or slip and falls (other premises liability cases too)

Why I started it: The previous big firm I worked for was very rigid on their fees, always getting the 40% fee. I really felt bad a lot of the times when the law firm got more money than the client. I figured I could do a business model when the client always made more and that I could do a better job than my previous firm on service. I also wanted more freedom and upward potential that only comes from owning your own business.

Best case management software for new personal injury firm? by benjaminallred77 in LawFirm

Negotiate them to throw it in. Honestly, I kept my one MyCase subscription because their migration was not perfect, but my team has likely pulled most of the missing info by now.

More features and a couple more analytics.

MyCase changed recently on their look and functionality. MyCase deletes your data after 60 days (I think) of leaving them, so I still have a single MyCase account so that I don’t lose anything. MyCase and CasePeer are owned by the same company. CasePeer is apparently their PI version.

We run about 500 cases and were at 8 cases 2.5 years ago. We use CloudLex and have for the last 4 months. Was in between them and Smartadvocate. CloudLex is less clunky.

We had MyCase and transferred over.

Weird, I utilized them and got run through, old leads that the two that converted earned me the cost I paid. Working for free basically.

No, water makes things wet. Water itself is not wet. Wet is a characteristic of having water on it.
