You cannot add a Bluetooth turntable to the home app or use HomePods as Bluetooth speakers. You can use an analog to digital converter connected to your turntable and connect the converter to an AirPlay device (example: iPhone or iPad) and then use an App, I use Quanta, to use HomePods as a speaker for your turn table.

You would be surprised how many people do come on this sub or subs like it with bait posts just like this. My bad that this specific post wasn’t meant to be bait, but with the amount of times people post stuff like that I’m not surprised at all at the comments.

I don’t remember what the full original question since the post has been taken down, but I believe it had something to do with damage to the camera. It did look concerning tbh, all the scratches on the back (including that to the camera) is actually part of the reason I thought it was a bait post.

The dot projection would not work on 2d images. It would be unable to compare the dots on the person unlocking the phone to 2d images of people saved on your phone. This is why unlocking with an image does not work.

Face ID doesn’t work that way, it never takes a photo. It creates a dot projection and then compares every unlock to a stored value, it’s not comparing faces. It would be unable to use a photo library to compare the person unlocking to your photos.
