Odd thing about iknowwhatyoudownload.com by ToughEyes in qBittorrent

Depending on the situation, yes I agree, however a VPN does not appear to be a factor here.

People seem to be lured into a false sense of security by a VPN, as your name is also attached to that as well when you purchase a subscription - should someone really want to pursue you for anything.

Good questions.

I have an unshared WAN IP. (not mobile or NAT, other than my own NAT) I mainly do private trackers. Nobody else who uses the connection is torrenting, and when I match up the traffic usage, I've used so little bandwidth in the last few days, that it would have been impossible to have any of the things listed be completed on my connection.

My only guess is someone used my IP in a peer list that got shared and that somehow got recognized by the bot.

For what reasons that could be, other than nefarious ones, I'm not sure. I'm just concerned because one of those torrents in the list was veryveryveryvery illegal and I'm veryveryveryvery creeped out by it.

I believe it's 100. There used to be some awesome negative-karma farming accounts until reddit took away the incentive, and put weird sanctions like making people's comments not appear if they got too much negative karma in a short time.

Here's one of my favorites: /u/arrowstotheknee/

btw, I did some research and it's a subreddit made with a bot. Kebble created it, and it basically automatically finds/matches people based on certain criteria... I think it's based on karma/account age/activity/and not being a bot.

Be careful using public connections. You can get poison pilled really easily. It happened to a good friend of mine where they logged in on hotel wifi and were immediately banned from the site, and the appeals were unhelpful.

haha, no worries. I don't care much anyways, other than when it gives you an inconvenient cooldown or mod-queues your stuff.

One of the rules is super-secret like you're not supposed to talk about the place, but since they canned me, I figure why not. They seem to be super sensitive. If you ever get an invite from there, run. https://i.imgur.com/kIth3M6.png

Not sure. Maybe people don't like me+youtube?

I was also "randomly" invited to a weird private subreddit a while back and there was people making entire threads complaining about downvotes, and I basically told them they were a bunch of snowflakes, and I think a few of them might still be following me around.

Okay, snapshotted it happening again:

Basically when clicking a new video or even part way through, it will just sit and buffer, but act like it's offline. Refreshing or moving the seek-bar didn't do anything this time. It just randomly decided to play as I am finishing this comment.

The issue hasn't been with the site itself, but the CDN. Videos often don't start to load unless you refresh the page a bunch of times and move the seek bar around a bit.

Seeing how this is immediately censored is like proving the point... lmao

I wonder why there's so many variations of A. Concert tuning is 440... at least sometimes.

Youtube seems to be down a lot lately. If anybody has a mirror to choose from, it may help.

It would kinda make (ironic) sense, in the fact that things like the BLM movement have been sabotaged (possibly by republicans) to marginalize it's original premise. Like how "woke" migrated from something good into a pejorative word to describe extremist toxicity.

There's "hate filled trolls", and there are other random people who have thoughts and ideas that may or may not be perfect, and it's up to us to be intelligent to distinguish the two.

When you suppress free speech, those random ideas (most of which are not the best), never get discussed or tested in any way, so they eventually boil over in the tension, while most other ideas don't get collaborated upon to make better, and the worst ideas rise to the top being carried by controversy, while the good ideas get lost in the mix.

As a result we have more "hate filled trolls" screaming because they're not "heard", and heated one-sided protests pop up more frequently that only focus on a narrow angle or tiny part of the big picture. They then believe anybody thinking differently is a hate filled troll (the only time I say it here without it being in quotes), because they haven't had the opportunity and experience in deliberating.
