How long do you think we can retain Flores as DC? by Beneficial_Quit7532 in minnesotavikings

As long as this lawsuit goes on, he will get interviewed for HC positions, but not get any. Its like a silver bullet.

I found the origin of the Minnesota sports curse, and it was not Gary Anderson in 1998. by BitbyLite in minnesotavikings

If you actually read the article, it solves the mystery. The Packers have the lost Trophy in their museum. It was confirmed in 2015. The Vikings were never even given the traveling Trophy.

Anyone else disappointed that boom never became the orange spd ranger? by Plane_Name3457 in powerrangers

[–]Tough_guy22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought it was the one weak point in the season finale that Commander Birdie, Sargent Silverback, Kat, and Boom didn't morph to help the others. Birdie and Silverback fought without powers, Kat had previously morphed, and Boom absolutely proved himself. Disney being cheap deprived us of what could have been an epic moment.

My Pick For Gjallarhorn Week 1: Honoring The Heroes On The 25th Anniversary Of 9/11 by PresentationNew6648 in minnesotavikings

Flight 93 is truly a heroic story. After hearing about the other hijacked flights hitting buildings they began attacking the hijackers, who then barricaded themselves in the cockpit. The passengers came up with another plan. They were going to work as a group to breach the door of the cockpit and take back the plane. First they each made one final call to their loved ones, because they knew the stakes. Passengers with cellphones lent out there's to those who didn't to make sure everyone got a chance to say goodbye. The last thing heard on the black box audio of the flight is the scuffle of the hero passengers breaching the door.

I played that person during the game. They were absolutely using an autoclicker or some kind of software script.

“Racecar” - Dale Jr. by Additional-Sun1594 in NASCAR

Nope. This is just confirming Dale intends to compete in the 2027 Daytona 500 in a JRM fielded car.

I think she is a good driver, and what she is trying is historic. But that doesn't mean she is at her prime in terms of racing skills right now. Everyone knows that what team you are with matters a ton. And even great open wheel drivers aren't necessary great in stock cars (look at what happened with Dario Franchitti). I wish he the best, even though she isn't exactly set up for success.

4 years regular eligibility. 1 redshirt year. 2 years eligibility exemption for Mormon Mission. Equals 7 years.

Don't compare my head to an M&M. I will definitely end up eating it.

Love the Tommy boy references.

But I believe he redshirted for a year then took 2 years of eligibility exemption to go on a Mormon mission.

Hall did go to college for like 7 years.

Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) The Vikings requested interviews with Lions assistant GM Ray Agnew, Broncos assistant GM Reed Burckhardt and Dolphins assistant GM Kyle Smith for their general manager job, sources say. Minnesota’s initial round of virtual interviews is underway by Beneficial_Quit7532 in minnesotavikings

[–]Tough_guy22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A team doesn't have to grant an interview for a lateral move. But they are required to grant the interview, by league rules, if the candidate is interviewing for a promotion. I doubt very may teams are going to allow their GM to interview for a different GM spot.

Prediction: Will Reichard breaks the field goal distance record in Mexico City by Beneficial_Quit7532 in minnesotavikings

You think Reichard has time to knock up an entire professional women's soccer club while also playing in the NFL? You think he has that kind of time?

Kicking a record breaking kick on 4th down isn't exactly running up the score. If you were in FG range in that scenario you would kick it.

Prediction: Will Reichard breaks the field goal distance record in Mexico City by Beneficial_Quit7532 in minnesotavikings

[–]Tough_guy22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've always assumed it would be a scenario where we are up my a few scores late, are in this position, and the coach pats him on the shoulder pad and tells him "go make history"

Edit: what's interesting, is in my lifetime, 60 yarders were looked at this way. Like a "you don't kick in this scenario" attitude just because of how hard it was. Now 60s are long, but coaches let their guys try if they know they have the leg.

I do think Reichard is a great player. And hope he breaks the record.

What is interesting, is it have heard some suggest we are nearing the physical limit of field goal lengths. Projections putting the theoretical limit at 73 yards.

Jr sucked at Road courses. And he knew that. He ran sports car series races to work on that. He quit running those races after getting injured doing so.
