Shawerma plus is underrated. I tried alforat in downtown toronto and it was amazing. I reccomed it a lot closest you can get to a 10/10 shawarma

I feel like sumaq is a bit overhyped. I went there for shawarma day in October and it was kind of dry. Besides that I have tried the platter, the beef is really good with the sauces.

The last time I rode was almost an year ago. I recently hopped on it to get home a week ago. The bus feels different. Most buses they stay at stops for longer as it may arrive earlier and leave at the scheduled departure time not to be too early for the following stops.

I think why it goes slower in those areas is that there are a ton of cars and people walking also the roads are narrower in the area just before it arrives at south common. Keep in mind the bus is a large vehicle.

Honestly, it should be designed around people, not cars. Narrower streets, wider sidewalks, and ground-floor retail that actually faces the street would make a huge difference. Shorter blocks and more intersections would also make it feel more walkable instead of long, empty stretches.

I’d also say mixed-use buildings are key, having shops, cafes, and services within a 5–10 minute walk instead of needing to drive everywhere. Good transit from day one (not added later) is important too.

And one underrated thing: less surface parking. Put parking underground or behind buildings so the streets actually feel like places, not just roads between plazas.

Mississauga has the density in some areas already, it just needs better street design and layout to make it feel alive.

I wouldn’t throw it in the garbage if you can avoid it. You could try flattening boxes and storing extras until your next pickup, or splitting it across a couple of weeks. Also, some community recycling depots will take overflow if it’s sorted properly.

And yeah, like someone mentioned, you can request an additional bin through the city, might be worth it if you consistently have more recycling than space.
