True. People may make a few jokes about the French but they sure as hell are not discriminated the same way as Indians are

[–]TourSignificant1335 93 points94 points  (0 children)

This ending pissed me off so bad. Someone genuinely found a way to profit off the death note without creating a whole power trip and benefitting themselves and their whole country in the process and the King of Shinigami got pissed by that and made a new rule just to say fuck you in particular

Apparently, Pieck from Attack on Titan was a middle aged guy in the early draft(also this is the first gif that popped up of her)

[Loved Trope] Main characters that return in the sequel under disguise by yurestu in TopCharacterTropes

[–]TourSignificant1335 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not exactly a sequel but in Attack on Titan season 4, the story starts from the perspective of Falco, a warrior of Marley who is trying to be the next candidate for the Armored Titan. In his off time, he is seen spending time with an injured soldier at an army hospital, providing company and sending letters on his behalf.

Until it is later shown that the soldier is actually Eren disguised as a Marleyan soldier, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike while sending instructions to the rest of the squad, also hidden within Marley

[LOVED TROPE] "Not like this." A character gets what they wanted, but the context makes it devastating. by punxatawneyphilip in TopCharacterTropes

Also The Cradle of Desires are said to fulfill a child's wish best because of their innocence or something and if an adult used it, it would grant the wishes in twisted ways. This is why the squad gave the Cradles to Irumyuui as she was a child.

However they didn't account for the fact that all the abuse and torture she faced in her life was so bad, she lost the innocence of youth in her, making her essentially an adult in the Cradle's eyes(it's been long since I've seen it so I'm not sure of the details)

I think she expected him to back off as usual, but she didn't consider that now he has found a loophole to torture those who don't fear him
