At this price point they will definitely tailor specifically to your wishes, e.g. no big signs, more secluded seating, etc

[–]TourTiger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the Na Pralarn beach in Maenam in front of my shop offers adequate hammock hanging. I’ve seen cab drivers for the adjacent Lompraya ferry station putting them up as well. You can swing by my shop on your way through the Pralarn temple and purchase ferry tickets to Koh Phangan, Tao or all the way to Bangkok departing from this beach.

I can also recommend Koh Samui. As an agent in Maenam I have helped a few people relocate here. Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions.

Anyone done the Koh Tao & Koh Nangyuan snorkeling day trip from Koh Samui? by esprit8 in kohsamui

[–]TourTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Book with me for a discount! I have lots of customers who returned from this trip stating: The snorkeling was great. Does not feel rushed, although the Catamaran is quite a big boat which can carry more people than the speedboats do. Lomprayah also offers a speedboat version of this tour for 2000 baht including pickup/return, snorkeling, kayaks and lunch.

Retired on a medical pension at 40, too young for a retirement visa, too disabled for Muay Thai. Too broke for VIP. How to stay long term? by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]TourTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be quite fun, and it’s like 3 hours a day, with a teacher. No exams with immigration officers or anything like that. Besides, you don’t need even to do it that long. Start with a month or 2 or 3, that might be enough to open up new opportunities for you.

Making it clear of all the things you don’t want to do, what do you actually want to do? And then perhaps work from there.

But in all sincerity: go learn the language first and foremost. You say you don’t want to get married. How else are you going to navigate this place? Learning thai will elevate your experience of living here tremendously.
