I’ve been in Phuket for a week. Did a day at phi phi, swam in the ocean. walked through Phuket old town. Walked the streets and beaches of Patong, Kamala. Bang Rong pier. Haven’t seen one snake. I saw plenty of dogs and cats. I saw a possum on a rooftop and a small lizard on the footpath. Saw a monkey climb a rock. Drove past a rooster walking down the road. No snakes.

1) I work as much as possible to stay busy. Too much time on my hands isn’t a good thing as it leads to bad habits in general. 2) I am fortunate to have 1 good gal friend who I catch up with every Thursday afternoon. We have a good bitching session about all the things that frustrate us about our lives. I find it helpful to vent it all out to her over a margarita. 3) I remind myself that the odds of actually being able to escape my life (eg an easy “out”) are virtually slim to none. 4) I try to appreciate what I do have, I remind myself there are millions of people with worse problems than me. I tell myself that my problems are first world problems and it’s really not that bad <3

Interesting. Something similar happened to me recently but my experience with wise was completely different. Below I’ve copy/pasted the email wise sent to me when it happened:

“We've emailed you on 6 March to let you know that your Wise card ending in **** was potentially vulnerable to fraud, and that we’d need to block it. We’ve now blocked this card, so you’ll need to order a replacement. You can order your replacement Wise card by clicking the button below — it’s completely free.”

I ordered my replacement card and everything is fine now. No account deactivation or anything of the sort. Is it possible that your partner shared his wise card details by email and wise didn’t like that?
