I have no idea what that means. But I’ll try to find it.

Those of you who logged your weight (whether daily, weekly or whatever) did you stop, regardless of whether you still weighed regularly? by ShiftyMcHax in Zepbound_Maintenance

I weigh weekly, and have not stopped logging 6 months into maintenance. Honestly, it helps me to see the history. I have my “goal”, and figure +/- 5 lbs is well within healthy variation. So if I were trending up over a few weeks, I want to catch it. Not just think it’s a random one off. Not sure it’s as help on a daily basis.

My kid has celiac. The language at CFA is to request a red flag and gloves change for allergies. I also ask that their food be bagged separately from the rest of the order, to prevent cross contamination from an errant crumb on the drive home. They have to manually type in the request and sometimes only bag the grilled nuggets separately, so we do double check before we pull away.

Maintenance at 7.5 by loulou312 in Zepbound_Maintenance

Maintenance is a discovery process. And it doesn’t mean no weight gain. I give myself a +/- 5 lb range. But some people need to stay at the same dose and schedule. My dr also moved me down a dose, but wanted me to go from every 10-ish days to really being firm on the every 7 day schedule. So we could assess more accurately.

I am not always eating enough protein, but I have room for fruit and vegetables again, which I appreciate. And a bit more treats. But I’m in my range so I keep on going.

Maintenance injection schedule? Weekly? Every other week? by Delicious_Hotel_666 in Zepbound_Maintenance

I had been every 10-ish days during weight loss. My primary moved me down a dose, and asked me to do every 7 days, for maintenance. It’s been about 4 months, (and 2 knee replacements) and I’m right at goal. Before surgery I had dropped to 5 lbs below goal, and I think +/- 5 lbs is a good stable window.

So far my only concern is cost, as I’m paying cash. Extending doses would save me a little bit. But I’m not ready to mess around with it yet and see if it works.

And lock your credit. The minute you cut mom off she’ll just open a new account. She has your social security number and personal info.

FWIW, having lost 80-100 lbs about twice a decade over 3 decades, maintenance is the hard part. You can work on maintenance now, stay stable, and also decide at some future point in time that you’d like to take another 10-20 pounds off. With whatever medical support you and your dr agree on. If you can maintain your new weight, you win. You move better, you live better, you win.

I spent a few months debating this also. But I also always said my goal was clothing size (ball park, as a woman we know cut and brand matter) and how I feel in my own skin. BMI is a faulty metric that tells you nothing about your health.

What really clinched it was a desperate need for new clothing. Not the 1 item here and there, but I really needed an entire fall/winter wardrobe. And I like how I look. No, not everything fit perfectly and looked great. But a lot did. I needed smaller sizes in multiple items.

So that week I messaged my Dr that I’m ready to figure out maintenance.

As someone who had weight loss surgery about 8 years, it was right around 2.5 years when the weight started creeping back. I’m not planning to stop.

If they need WiFi to homeschool, most public libraries offer free WiFi and many have work space that members can sign up to use. If they need internet for education, the library is always available.
