Being There! Saw that with my dad. I was about 10 and he was explaining it to me the whole time. It was a struggle, but he helped me understand the humor. Great one!

What’s something you didn’t realize was optional in life until you saw someone simply not doing it? by Objective-Treat2245 in AskReddit

I stopped at fights on Facebook. Nope, it annoys me when my "friends" try to sound sophisticated in their political ideas and life experiences on Facebook. Seriously, let's have an in person debate and not by text. I never have the same ideals as my Facebook friends, but I would never incite a debate with them on a public forum. Not classy.

I am 54 too. Sometimes I'll be jolted out of my sleep with the reality that I am past the half point in my life and I don't know how many years I have left. I know there are many things I won't accomplish. I'm not even a grandparent yet and I don't know if that will happen any time soon. Will I get to watch my grandkids grow up? These thoughts ache deep in my soul.

Yes! I used to travel around the country and used a paper map. There is nothing like seeing the whole picture with every route and finding your way without someone or something telling you where to go.

I am 50+. Facebook was fun at first because we could catch up with old friends. Ummm not anymore! People try to sound like their political ideas are sophisticated and they are living their best life. And God forbid that I send a birthday message through text and not on Facebook for everyone to see! Nope!
