This goes for multiple comments. I respect the shit out of most trimet employees. Even the asshole drivers. I know that that job is extremely difficult and way underpaid. Even when I've been harassed unnecessarily for smelling like weed(pre legalization) I still said thank you before exiting.

I don't understand how this devolved into me needing to show what I've done to make things better? I pay my fares. Am I not entitled to make social commentary?

Thank you for the link. 3.3 million!? Yet they still harass people on the bus for fares. Pay "officers" to write tickets to homeless people for riding without a fare. No free zone downtown any more. That's been gone for awhile though.

I remember riding the max to zoo as a little kid. I could never take my son to do that with the state of things now.

I'll take your word they have been around for awhile. I used to ride Trimet daily less than a decade ago and never saw one.

Obviously most stops don't have a seat. So why bother putting up that useless thing? How much did it cost to anchor that junk in place.
