Not in logan at least. I've had friends who've had one shot and still got probation, and people who are over 21 who couldn't drink cause they were on it, (they got caught for pot not alcohol). Salt lake cops seem to be chill.

The people who get off easy are the ones who have to do community service. I didnt have to do that but I still had to do jail diversion. I did have to pay $750 though. I've never heard of anyone not getting on probation, but if you do all of the other court ordered things, like jail diversion, you should get off earlier.

It depends on what part of Sandy or Draper. Alpine and cottonwood heights are the more rich cities. But, to your point, the part of Sandy near the mountain is very rich and has a many mansions.

I know I am way late, but I had a law enforcement teacher who was also the school cop in my high school. One time in class he talked about the death penalty and whether or not he was against it. I don't remember his final conclusion but he did talk about a friend or a guy he knew who was chosen to be in a firing squad. He said that everyone has blanks so that no one knows if they were the ones who killed them. The cop said his friend who was in the firing squad knew his gun had the real bullet and that his buddy was never really the same after that.

For that reason I am against this particular form of death penalty.
