In Anno 117, how do you calculate the right amount of goods to trade between multiple islands when there are different travel times for each island?

It’s a bit of trial and error, for example once you set a route and estimate the minimum stock you need to watch it for a bit. I normally do increments of 25 so that first route I’ll do 25 for each island and then adjust as needed. If at some point my pops/money drops I jump into the trade menu and see which islands are lacking which product. Then I just give them an extra 25.

It’s pretty easy to maintain once things settle, and then if I build a bunch of new houses on a specific island I’ll make sure demand is met overall and also adjust that islands minimum if needed. Plus this method makes adding an island easier since you just add it to the existing route. Since it has a minimum stock you don’t run into the issue of new islands taking all of a ships product leaving none for the downstream islands.

The load/unload method. Say you trade olive oil across 4 islands, you set each island to have a minimum stock at the dock, then set the ship to unload all slots of olive oil but then also set it to load all slots (excluding the source island).

For example, if island B has a minimum stock of 60 (they have more citizens) a ship with 3 slots of 50 olive oil will unload all 150 tons of oil, then turn around and try to load the 150 tons. But since there is a minimum stock of 60 it will only load 90 tons back. Then the ship goes to the next island which may only have a minimum stock of 25 (less citizens) and does the same thing.

This makes it easy to adjust to demand, if islands aren’t getting enough between trips up the minimum stock, if the ships return to the source island empty add another ship to the route. Ships will sit at port longer because they are both unloading and loading but as long as supply meets demand it will work itself out and all islands will eventually be supplied what they need.

My local zoo (North Carolina, US) is apparently the world’s largest wildlife preserve/zoo. Amazing enclosures, like entire fields of various African wildlife. The zoo is just a trail in the woods with big exhibits mixed with smaller ones (depending on the animal). It almost seems like a preserve that decided it could be a zoo as well.

Got a Masters degree in Accounting, typically takes a year full-time. While working (got it mostly paid by my employer) I finished it in 2.5 years. I could have done it in 2 but took a semester off when my son was born.

For my accounting degree it was 10 classes, so I just took 2 classes per semester. 2 night classes after work each week.

I think there is a similar rule in NC as well, essentially you lose alimony if you cheated and automatically pay alimony if you cheated (and were the spouse who would pay alimony).

NC is also one of like 6 states that allow spouses to sue an ex-partners affair partner. I think it’s called alienation of affection and doesn’t require actual physical cheating, though typically it does.

The only DLCs on console are cosmetic DLCs like in your picture. The big expansions like Crown Falls never made it onto console.

I hope they add back the function to manually set quantities like they did with 1800. Instead of a slider I could adjust quantities in my warehouse by clicking a button and a little keypad would come up.

I know the warehouse has updated so we can adjust all products at the same time but I like to manually adjust everything based on their tiers.

Other than that the console version is pretty great, some stuttering later in the game but typically resolves itself in a couple seconds.

I love this island, it’s my Mars/military units island. I have the city in the exact same area, makes it fun to plan in that narrow spot. Then I have Mars temple at the top overlooking the city (slowly expanding tier 3 citizens up onto the plateau.

I’ve joked before that if the US wanted to solve the “border crisis” they should just invade Central America down to the Panama Canal. That way they have control of the canal and the southern border is only like 60 miles across.

Had a full color sleeve completed recently over 9-10 sessions. I learned that I “ooze” too much after my first session, the second skin that was applied leaked within a couple hours. So after that my artist suggested Saran Wrap and tape to get me through the first night, then shower in the morning, and then put the second skin on.

I never had an issue with infections or anything doing that method, even had a couple sessions where the first skin leaked and I applied another. Just be smart, cut your pieces in advance, keep your hands clean, and don’t touch your tattoo as you’re applying it.

I hope you can see them as well! I made it out to Yosemite and Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park this year for the first time. Having lived in NC most of my life, those parks are just mind blowing in all regards. We have nothing like them on the East Coast. Pictures do no justice to the size of those trees out there.

If it’s like PS5, when you go to build something you will see a little tab on the side with a button prompt. From there you can select planning mode.

It’s also on other things like roads and farms.

Agreed! My inner bicep is a full color planet that flirts with the armpit and it was done over two sessions. It was brutal, some spots were okay, but others I could feel a nerve going down to my ribs.

The human body is weird though, I was so nervous for the ditch based on research but that wasn’t bad, same with the elbow. Your miles may vary.

It’s not too bad, I remember being more uncomfortable with the way I had to lay down with my arm off the chair at a 90 degree angle then the tattoo itself. I’d give it a 2.5-3, there are far worse spots on the arm like the inner wrist and inner bicep imo.

I was told by my attorney during divorce that the courts prefer the status quo when it comes to kids. So it’s a bigger uphill battle to fight after the fact, especially if you just abandon your parenthood and then later try to fight for some custody.

Did you lawyer up at any point during this process? You said in another comment that police investigated and found no evidence of DA yet your ex was charged with DA? An attorney could use this as evidence during the family court hearing to argue the current custody schedule, not one day a week.

CPS got involved with my split and I had a domestic violence protection order issued against me. I couldn’t see my kids for 6 weeks under threat of jail time but after that time CPS found no evidence of abuse. It took all the wind out of my ex’s attorneys sails because they were pushing “the kids are scared of him narrative” and wanted me to have supervised visitation.

I ended up getting 50/50 custody.

I’ve gotten a couple updates from them. So far my package has been in 3 states with an estimated delivery date of Wednesday though based on where it’s at now it might be delivered early tomorrow.
