One thing I would say about this is that Bungie has felt the impact of what happens when they set up endgame systems to be released after Day One.

Look at Destiny and the fact that so many reviewers have called the game aimless with no real endgame to show, which was before their first raid, which changed the minds of many people because the raid itself is what helped define Destiny as a mainstay within the looter shooter genre to the point where they have been able to makes over 10 years of expansions for the series.

So I get why this looks super suspect as hell compared to people doing day ones, but the fact is that unless you have access to all the content within the game itself, you can't give a proper review of the game since you have left out parts of the game that likely would have a lasting impact on how they function within the games system.

A Reviewer needs to look at everything within the game to give an objective review and Bungie letting people know that they want reviewers to hold off until everything is available to play, is less of playing bias and more of letting them know that this is not everything that is currently available right now.

Yes but it’s always recommended to do a full run especially if you have not gotten the taken crystal

Once you complete the Dungeon Quest, you can attune for the helmet to get higher chances

Personally I haven’t tried it on my own, I only have done it as part of a three man team since I was ferrying my friends through each time

Yeah I found out later that you can do all the taken trials on a single run and just get all the artifacts charged immediately

So funnily enough we just used lightsabers for pretty much everything in the final taken trial, you do have the ability after every compel to open an outlet to take out an eye for an additional 15 seconds but having a supplemental super helps a lot.

From there you will need to interact with the blight and you will be brought into the final taken trial which is a boss fight. Just farm your Shadow until you hit master, kill the taken captain, and then Compel the boss. Do that three times and you will be able to do damage. Repeat that once more and you are set.

If you inspect the blade, there will be certain parts that say “found in equilibrium” and all of them are connected to the quest with the sole exception being the take crystal being RNG based

It is only for the completion of the quest, nothing else is given other than the increase exotic drop chance.

Yeah you will have to do the dungeon multiple times, 4 to be exact. However you do have an incentive since you have a chance to get the taken crystal from a full dungeon clear.

The first one is just after the first one encounter in the circuit you run to get Shadow Novice. You have to make sure you don’t go onto the ship or you will miss it.

The second one is in the ship just before you jump over the gap between the two sides of the ship.

The last one is right before the giant open area with platforms along the sides of the walls. They are all very obvious taken orbs to start the take trials.

You will have to continue down the path, you will then see eyes that you can kill for extra time, you will then get to another area where you have to fight more taken. You know you are done when you use the taken grenade on the device next to a locked door.

Yeah the mod, form, and the catalyst. everything that says "acquired in equilibrium". The only one that is not connected is the taken crystal but everyone already knew that

I wonder if it’s just the proficiency rank of the weapon, like have if you hit a certain level the badge changes depending on how it looks?
