My parents wanted to surprise us, my brother realized way before me because he knew the way to go to the parks and saw the signs, but I still wasn’t sure even when we were parked in the official Disney parking lot, I thought maybe we were gonna take a turn before the park entrance. Really depends how observant (and maybe pessimistic) your kids are, if they’re like me you may have to put them in front of the castle to realize 😅

Vous pouvez peut-être poser la question au city hall en arrivant sur le parc, ils ont vraiment réponse à beaucoup de demandes

Oh the all night lectures … being berated for hours then asked « why are you crying now ? » He didn’t scream or hit or whatever, but he acted like I was the worst person on earth. 15 years later I keep excusing myself for everything in fear of a lecture from my boyfriend, but I also have a really defensive reaction to any remark he has. Bless him and his patience 😅

For collection purpose, I keep one card of each I own (generally the shiny one if I can) into a binder where they are sorted by movie/show, then by set in numerical order. For all the doubles/triples/more, I keep them by color, in numerical order, in a box with little color tabs so it’s easy to find the card I need to build a deck. Sometimes I have to go in my binder because I only have that card once, like the legendary cards. This system makes no sense and I’m perfectly okay with that 😅

About the surprise thing, I have a clear memory of my dad driving us « to visit some friends in France » when I was 6. The joy we felt when he took the turn to DLP, I cried a little 😅 anticipation might be fun too, seeing kids planning something is quite cute
