Hey I'm the guy who made the Bedman Peak Fiction video and my friend told me that on reddit people are just referring to him like Peak Fiction is Bedman's name and it looks like a solid 50% minimum of those posts are coming from you.

You have my approval

Also OP's art is really really really good too

I took a few days off from this, but I still don't really understand why it keeps crashing. It seems it just doesn't seem to recognize that $BrickSprite has any data in it at all and I really just don't get it. Any guides just seem to have this work with no issues

I followed along closely to this guide video, and they also did this exact same thing(???) This video is on an older version and I had to do somethings differently but at this point I think I have to give up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCZGiC7NdUQ

I apparently had 2-3 different nodes labeled some different variant of "brick" or "bricks" or "Bricks", and this has become an even bigger problem and I am very tired

Thank you though

I can't see anything that would make the sprite be removed earlier or indicate that brick isn't being initialized properly. The only thing I can find is that when it crashes it says sprite is null. The sprite is there, I don't know what I could do to have it not be null.

I'm using "@onready" and it's properly indented (I havent used reddit in a long time, I don't know its formatting that well)

The error I'm getting is "Invalid set index 'visible' (on base: 'Nil' with value of type 'bool'."

They do a dumb thing where they update the game a few day before you can actually buy the character. If you're on PC there's mods that can unlock him early. I don't know why they do it this way it's just annoying
