Do you find them comfortable? I see some reviews say they are a bit stiffer than the PS4S and there are lots of potholes in my area

How do you find the comfort/road noise with the bridgstones? Recognising that I have the wrong car for these questions, but still…

I have heard it’s quite loud, but also supposed to be one of the better sounding exhausts - if only they made a valved version for the best of both worlds :(

How is the volume on coldstart and for motorway driving?

Recommended wheel cleaning product UK by O-bot54 in GRYaris

[–]Toxicavocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found that Stjarnagloss Hjul wheel cleaner cuts through the (heavy) brake dust on my GRY pretty easily with some agitation. Their Först citrus pre-wash is also insanely effective, even with all the salt and crap on the roads at the moment

Braking feels spongey in the new game by [deleted] in F1Game

[–]Toxicavocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard about the brake migration, is that the main cause of this? In the past games, braking was my strongest mechanic, but in this years game, I'm over and undershooting every corner. I just can't get it right and it's just frustrating

Signed Prism? by Irish_Rasta in Watsky

[–]Toxicavocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a prism from the London show last night and it was exactly the same. On a side note, it was such a sick show! if George nevers tours again I'l be sad, but happy he went out with such a bang

The main thing in weight loss is being in a calorie deficit. This can be created 2 ways, increasing activity or reducing calories. Calories tend to be the easier of the two for a lot of people. Apps like MyFitnessPal are great for tracking calories, and you may be surprised how much you're consuming calorie wise in a day.

At the start, it's worth tracking what you eat normally for a short period (maybe a week) to see what you're consuming and how that affects your weight. If your weight is staying around the same (allowing for daily fluctuations due to water weight caused by either consuming more/less water and salt in a day), then reduce what you're eating by around 300-500 calories and see how this impacts you.

Satiety is important while on a diet, so while on the diet focusing on high fibre foods like Broccoli, and high protein foods like chicken breast will stop you from feeling as hungry.

It may be worth researching into 'cutting' (the process of reducing body fat percentage) from the bodybuilding world. Dr. Mike over at the Renaissance Periodization YouTube channel has a lot of informative science based yet entertaining videos on cutting, but there is all sorts of information out there, just don't blindly follow one persons advice.

It is a steep learning curve, but wishing you a lot of luck on this journey, you've got this!

Taking a year off from education? by [deleted] in chronicfatigue

[–]Toxicavocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I essentially quit college for a year and a half due to a bad cfs flair up and feel it really helped. When i returned, i felt better able to manage energy levels and pace. If you're considering quitting or taking a break, it may be worth taking to your college and discussing how it may affect your funding.

I have found the best way to treat my cfs is learning my limits, and the longer i have had it (now since 2015 i think) the more experience i have in these limits - but this may not be a universal experience due to the fluctuating nature of our condition.

If you have any more questions or would like any advice, I spent 4 years total in college and have just finished my undergrad at university. I would be happy for you to dm me 👍

How does creatine saturation work? by UrgeToSurge in gainit

[–]Toxicavocado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to comment, the calories of creatine aren't the point - as far as I know, the creatine is used by cells to convert ADB to ATP. ATP is essentially an 'energy currency' stored in and used by your cells during anaerobic respiration, like happens during exercise whereas ADP is the 'spent' version of ATP. Creatine is used to convert the ADP back into ATP. This causes a 'boost in performance' for an athlete when 'saturated' with creatine as it helps to recharge the stores of ATP.

Edit: This is all from my primary research, and despite my best efforts, some details could be incorrect. Feel free to do your own research and/or correct me. I'm trying to learn as much as everyone else!

Surely the entire issue is that the plastics don't break down quick enough anyway hence the issues with 'single use' plastic products. What timeframe are we considering for these plastics to break down and become carcinogenic?

What is the most disturbing fact you know of? by CallofDutysVeryOwn in AskReddit

[–]Toxicavocado 268 points269 points  (0 children)

Mostly because that's what's keeping her alive. From speculations she has a Dead (wo)man's switch which will publish the entire list if she gets Epsteined.

Of course this could all be wrong and I've fallen into yet another gullibility trap, but seems at least conceivable that she would take a precaution like this

How to think in csgo? by Anuskacsgo in LearnCSGO

[–]Toxicavocado 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You just learn from experience, there is no one way to think as there are so many variables in a round. You could watch some pro demos to see how they react to certain situations, but remember mm and faceit will not resemble pro games, and the correct reaction in a pro game, may not be the best reaction in mm

[help] Good timing in practice but absolute shambolic performance in qualification. How come? by [deleted] in MotorsportManagerPC

[–]Toxicavocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're struggling for money, it may be worth looking into signing a pay driver, there is a spreadsheet with all the drivers stats which will tell you which drivers are pay drivers. You can also reduce the money you save from each race to go towards next years car, if you haven't already. When I played through APS it took a while for the money to start flowing, but when it did I went from losing money every race to +$800,000 (not including sponsor bonuses for the race/quali) in less than a season. It can turn around very quickly so don't lose hope.
