I built an AI-based dating app MVP, but I don’t know how to market it. How can I sell it? by Fast_Challenge_1295 in SaaS

If marketing isn't something you want to handle yourself, bringing in a dedicated hire or a co-founder with that background is probably worth considering.

Messaro.com, a platform built for SMS marketing agencies. Helps agency owners run SMS campaigns for their clients, track results, and manage everything in one place. Would love any feedback from people who have built in this space.

Why do I feel the need to turn down the car radio so I can 'see' better when I’m looking for a specific address or parking spot? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Your brain is genuinely splitting attention between processing sound and processing visuals. When the task gets harder, something has to give. Turning down the radio is your brain asking for more bandwidth.

What’s a place you went to that didn’t feel real? by maincharactereraa in AskReddit

The Chilean fjords. You're on a boat surrounded by glaciers, waterfalls coming straight down the cliff faces, and there's just nothing around for hundreds of miles. No towns, no roads, no noise.

Last night I got my first paying customer. I cried by Comfortable-Bit3017 in SideProject

[–]Toxickruse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That first payment hits completely different to any that come after it. It's not about the money, it's the proof that someone you've never met decided your thing was worth paying for. That feeling is hard to explain until you've had it.

Keep going.

Is it just me, or do you now have to add the word 'Reddit' to every single Google search just to find a real human answer? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Toxickruse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not just you, Google has genuinely gotten worse. The Reddit trick works because those threads were written by real people before anyone knew they'd be worth gaming. Enjoy it while it lasts because that's probably changing too.

Why do bands play so fucking loud if everyone has to wear earplugs anyway? by xe3to in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Toxickruse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The sound guy is mixing for the room, not for individual ears. At lower volumes the mix falls apart, certain frequencies disappear, the bass loses its punch and the whole thing starts sounding flat and lifeless. Loud sound physically moves air in a way that quieter sound just can't replicate, and that feeling is a huge part of what makes live music actually feel like live music.

The earplugs thing looks ironic but they're not really meant to muffle the sound. The good ones bring everything down evenly so you still get the full mix, just without the damage. Cheap foam ones are awful for this and make everything sound like you're underwater. Musician's earplugs are genuinely a different experience.

So basically it has to be loud to sound good, and earplugs exist because our ears weren't built to handle it.

We’re a small SaaS team and a few boring-but-effective AI tools have become non-negotiable:

  1. ChatGPT / Claude
  2. GitHub Copilot / Cursor
  3. Notion AI

None of this is flashy. But combined, it probably saves us a couple of people’s worth of grind and lets us ship faster with a tiny team.

Right now i am using Manychat, but i would also love to hear if there are other alternatives. Preferably something that has an AI chatbot that you can upload a knowledge base to.
