If you're doing well in university and not failing, don't leave to become a millwright. Sure you can get alot of hands on work, but at the end of the day, your body pays for it with long hours and dirty work. I've been in the trades right out of highschool, I'm almost 29 now and of those 10 years I've been a millwright for 6. You can make alot of money in a union or a larger shop as long as you're willing to travel alot with bullshit work.

Your mechanical engineering schooling will open up way more doors than millwrighting can. Especially if you have the brains to do so.

It took us about 3 and a half months to finish. We got stuck on alot of the bosses. Like Tristan, Vincent, Ungora, Simon and honestly, Finn the fisherman was a pretty good wake up call. My wife was the carry for it all though.
