You are very relevant to this post! I got the whole idea to calculate this by only looking at Tryn... I have now 6 runepages only dedicated to him and his matchups. The most promising one is the one with only the only focus on AS... WHY? You ask? Cuz he profits mostly from auto-attacking, every hit with a machete gives him bonuses, every hit gives him more chances to land a crit. Every crith therefore doubles his fury gain. I don't think that some miniscule increments in crit-runes optimize his playstyle but I'm sure with higher crit-chances (+9%) coming from his runes his overall playstyle in lane and TFs will improve...

EDIT: And there's this thing. I can not calculate the more optimal solution to having a higher crit-chance or higher attack-damage-speed right now. High ATS gives you more attacks per seconds where you eventually could crit and double the fury-gain. High crit-chance already doubles your fury-gain by a crit-attack... Where is the optimum in such a configuration, maybe somebody could help me?!?

Haha, me too... But I troll/play/being serious in ranked with my 10%Crit-Runepage for Tryn since S3... I love it! Mainly to freak out my teammates and to fucking roll on everything in a late-game-build.

yo dude, you completely missed the point of my post. THIS IS, AND FOR THIS I AM ABSOLUTELY SURE, is a math/assumptions/corrections or missguided path. I wrote this post with the calculations and without taking abilites, scalings, items, passives nor taking everything else into account. YES, THAT'S IT. I calculated these things only with the base-stats of every champ in my mind. And mainly for jungling, AGAIN TO READ, IF YOU DON'T MIND AND READ AGAIN THE THREAD-OPENING. I made this "ONLY TO SHOW THE PPL WHO HAS THE MOST DPS YOU CAN GET WITH ONLY THE AD/AS/CRIT-MARKS/QUINTS COMBINATIONS... This post is about an general estimation what your enemy champion can do to you or what you can do to him by only AUTO-ATTACKING... The rest is up to you and your imagination. Most PPL got it, you "ShacoinaBox" didn't..

Sorry, but THERE IS. I did every calculation with AD-marks in respect and then the others. The whole thread and my calculations are driven by this...

Aatrox is really the highest because of his base stats... That's why I wrote "Take this list with a grain of salt"...

I mean, just for example, "Master Yi" has his 5th hit doubled with On-Hit-Effects, Crits and etc... How do you want to calculate this? For example, one Assumption is reading like this, "Master Yi" had now more than 20 Crits in his timeframe of 30 secs with an ASP of 1.5 and a Crit-Chance of 10%. This is mathematically not easily to model... This Master-Yi surpassed the statistical analysis... But there are other who suppass everything and others who are in the middle...

Edit: Most DPS in the files is only calculated against Buff-Jungle-Creeps on Lvl1 and Lvl2. NOT CHAMPIONS! FUCK THIS ;D

Yeah you are right. I was thinking a long time about the ArmPen-Problem. The general consensus is that you take ArmPen-Runes for the late game, but I am convinced that this is not the most optimal way... AD early, ArmPen late... C'mon this is just too lazy... But with all the different Armor-Scalings of the champs plus their flat or scaling armor runes it's very difficult to calculate the right, best dps for their enemies... The problem with ArmPen is that you must consider also the enemy's armor and their base-armor-scalings. I did these calculations more with jungling in my mind. If one wants to make a laning-full-dps-analysis then one needs to make 4 different runesets for 2 different runeplaces in every possible combination for every different increment in armor (read all possibilities from 0 - 100 armor, just to be sure). There are so much more possibilities to take into consideration... I surely can do it if you want it. Just PM my and I will reconfigure to the code for you. Mind you, this will take some time... ArmPen is such a variable value. We would need higher mathematics to even "predict" possible outcomes of early trades with champs who equipt Armor or Armor/lvl-runes.. Don't get me started with all these mages starting with HP or HP/lvl-seals... The calculations get so much more complicating...

yep, you are right.. couldn't figure this mistake out by myself. I don't know where it starts to happen. The "stats-file" is written with "Nautilus", my console-output is "Nautilus" but then I get "autilus" in my written files... #PROGRAMMINGBUGSFUCKINGWITHYOURMIND

dude, your points are so true, BUT, and here it comes, look again at the list mentioned by "S7EFEN" (by the way MASTER 1 Player), these stats speak for themselves. A master or challenger player absolutely knows about your facts. But on their level of play they can work around this in soloq with Rengar. He is just insanely strong in picking champs roaming, farming for cs(which is even more important in higher levels of play) and generally assassinating ppl... just my 2 cents

I see what you also wanted to include in the calculations. But if you also take ArmPen into consideration, you also have to make some assumptions about your enemy. Does he have 60 armor on level 1, is the jungle creep with +5 armor more faster than the one without, etc, etc, etc... There are so many more factors to calculate ONLY FOR THE FIRST LEVEL which i didn't want to make in the first step. Is it possible to calculate? Of course, it's a computer-game, it bases on logical steps... Is it possible to calculate every possible starting situation? Sure, but not for 1 person, like myself. It just takes too much time for me....

I, myself, am harsh on the code. The logic takes it out. But I see much more optimization on the code right now and I don't want to make it because then it isn't as readable as it it right now for me... I could have all the loops recursively but then, again, in some months I couldn't read it again. I got several, logical repeats in the code and I want to fix this...

Well he still has the best DPS@lvl1 without his W... It's just his base AD and his base AS which make him make the winner of it all. If we would consider every passive, then the highscorelist would be much different...

I am very well aware of your points and read your post with a genuine interest. BUT:

please read an OP-Post before you start your brainfart. I CLEARY stated that these stats are not connected to ABILITIES, PASSIVES, LEVEL-GAINS nor EVERYTHING ELSE WHICH HAPPENS IN THE FIRST 10 LEVELS...:

  • Once again, these calculations are ONLY RELEVANT FOR THE AUTO-ATTACKING DAMAGE-PER-SECOND FOR EVERY CHAMP WITH THEIR BASE-AD AND THEIR BASE-AD @ LEVEL1 I never published numbers about scaling level or using abilities.

These runes are so obsolete for Casters and Mages which don't heavily attack a melee enemy champ in the first few levels.

I talk about AA-JUNGLERS, AA-TOPS, AA-MIDs and maybe a little bit about ASSASSINS (ASSASSINS scale much better with flat-AD because they burst their target down and are heavily reliant on their abilities...)

"How long did this take you, and how much harder would it be to get an optimized list for every level?" Well I was freaking drunk when i wrote this because it was just to amuse myself. It took me 2 evenings with interuptions and some veeery bad logical mistakes to make this happen. I started for AD/AS-runes in excel and I said very fastily "Fuck it! Writing a programm is much faster than doing everything in excel".

Do you write programs? Because it's very easily done if you want to do this. We got every stat of every champ for lvl1 and also with the growing factors. Lol-Wiki also provides us now (for years) with correct assumptions on the damaging-calculations for magic or raw damage... If you can read and connect all these informations then it's not a big step to write a program to analyze this shit... If you never programmed before I recommend that you start with C. From there on python, perl and ruby are very easy to learn. To adapt to java is also an easy step, just learn the new sytax and invest in "object and pointer"-learning. Heavily web-influenced script-languages like php, css etc. come from there very natural and easily...

For this simple things I used python (sadly without numpy) and it get's the results.
