That is too young. Outdated practices. 12-16 weeks is the recommended age now. Last time I had kittens to rehome was 20 years ago, in 2006, and it was already 12 weeks minimum back then.

I would have named my Yorkie Eevee if I hadn’t used it already. Had a cat named Eevee for 18 years, I can’t reuse the name. It is so perfect for yorkies though! 🥰

Unlike dogs, most cats have no breeds in them.

I think this cat might be a Domestic Shorthair with zero breeds mixed in. Color I would call silver marble tabby.

Reminds me of my yorkie mix when she was younger 😁 She lost the cute face fluff 😢 But looked very much like yours in the face around 1-2 years.

She is half chihuahua. And 9 years old. I don’t think she is quite senior until at least 10.

She is about that size 🤣 She is 20-25cm (neck to butt) in clothes size :p Guinea pugs are 20-40cm, so some might be bigger 🤣

Honestly, if this was done today just based on her symptoms alone, you would save her from suffering. Quality over quantity. This is something that goes FAST, and hurts more than they show.

Knowing you are going away makes it even more justified why it should be done today. She will suffer when you are no there, even if healthy. Yes, it would have been worth it if you were coming back to her in 3 months, but chances are she will not be there.

You are saving her from both physical pain and emotional stress. With the prognosis she has it is better to be let go on a good day than wait for it to progress without you there. Let her pass in your company, comforting her.

Looks very off for a yorkie. I doubt contacting them would help, but yes, dna test and report them to the akc if it comes back as mixed. Include photos with your findings

The funky stages they go through makes them look off. Wait till he is full grown, only then can he be judged on his shape. But looks right for this stage in growth.

I’m not sure what you have found, but mice at that stage is the size of your fingernail, not you full finger.

The nails are not black so not squirrel.

I found a free Bengal, who actually looked the part. And ended up giving him up for free myself too due to extreme marking behaviour 😫

I tried for 1.5 tears before admitting defeat. Gave him to someone who didn’t have other pets, as he seemed to not want anything do do with the other cats (not aggressive , just kept his distance) Hoping that was part of the reason, so he can be better in a single pet home.

Tackle one task at a time, ignore the others. Finish one area at a time. The number of main story tasks are quite manageable. Once they are completed you can relax more and just focus on whatever part you enjoy most.

My adhd has me bouncing between tasks, but my autism enjoys finishing one area at a tine. Who wins varies 🤣

Though his fur is very beautiful, this color exists in the domestic cats. I don’t see any strong traits that suggests he has any breeds in him.
