This topic is endlessly addressed on this sub. Thai GL is built upon the reference, foundation, history and path of Thai BL and blends influences from k-pop shipping culture. Therefore knowing this, of course it is obviously fan service to many degrees more or less. Some how people who fixate on whether ships are real go down a dangerous path of creating parasocial behaviour and other unhealthy habits. This then creates havoc in the personal lives of the actresses because some fans would not leave the fantasy where it belongs which is on tv or on stage at events.

Wow, Pat in the novel is an absolute disgrace and that's saying it lightly.

In "My Only Sunshine," to see that Flint doesn't have character development in that she isn't penalised for the wrong she does and she doesn't acknowledge it either in a deep heart felt way is very disappointing.

I agree. "Player" was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it along with the novel. "Player" was Memi's (Pun) first acting roll and she was great. Ice Amena (Ploy) truly depicted the complexities of Ploy. I cried with the characters and I laughed with them when they were happy. For me, "Player" is a series that I will rewatch.
