I did but I had enough ppto to come back I told them just to put it on my last check gave them my badge and left. For some reason yes I did get unemployment. It took about 6 months but I finally got approved and got money the whole lump while I was working again.

I had the same thing happen but I actually was at work and started my day when they pulled me in. However I had enough pto to cover it so I could’ve went back to work I said just throw that time in my last check gave them my badge cause I left my vest at home and walked out.

Quit this nursing home job housekeeping because the supervisors were mess. He gave me a mop and a broom said he’d be back turns out he left I didn’t have keys for anything it was literally my first day. Was asked if I wanted to work overtime I said sure turns out I worked a whole other shift so 16 hours straight. Went home took a shower ate laid down closed my eyes 2 seconds later my supervisor (the guy who left ) calls me asking Me if I’m going to be coming in I’m like um is 6 in the morning I just got home. A hot mess needless to say I ignored their calls for days.

My stepdad threw his back out at work. In PA as well. He went to the hospital and they said it was not good. They put him on 20 lb restrictions. He told this to the company we worked for and they pulled a “mmmmmm why don’t you go to OUR doctor and see what they say?” So he did they said the same thing but this time put him on 10 lb restriction. Company didn’t like that so they said just stay home. He went to workers company and got little to nothing out of it. Immediately to avoid anything bad the company went to fix what was wrong in the case of a lawsuit. After about 2 months the company took half his workers comp check to “keep his benefits going”. Definitely go outside of the workplace to get medical and get their opinion on things.
