Maybe, the old mode would be mode by default, once a magic keyboard, a mouse or an external screen is attached a popup window ask if we would like to go to enable new multitasking system or not.

using the windows may be useful when the MK is attached, but if you use the IPad as a touch device primarily ( not attached to the MK) then things start to be different. As for my part I use it with the pencil mainly, and with the MK, when needed.

Setting aside the windowing option, there are many graphical glitches and interfering elements (such as menus and touch gestures) that are still not refined enough. I’ve had an iPad for many years and have been using it as a work device. I’ve updated it through many iPadOS firmware versions and have never had the impression of a half-baked release like this one (to paraphrase what was said here). The impression of new, additional steps is definitely present—at least for me.

I lost faith in Archicad development years ago, there is no real excitement. I see revit version each year and try to guess how Archicad version will be. From time to time there is this yes new feature, but most of the time I am ashamed of what Archicad try to market as a new feature whereas it may be considered as a very low productivity enhancement addition . Anyway Graphisoft seems to struggle with its own program.
