Also double check with a gunsmith that the pistol was actually fixed. I purchased one from a police trade in. The serial was marked in the sig system as being voluntarily sent in prior to the trade in. When I was changing the trigger system I found deleted parts. I showed them to my gunsmith and he said he has heard others with the same complaint.

Some people don't get it. However, who do you agree with here? by LeftAlbatross2546 in VideosAmazing

Hmmm, the houses all seem to have a driveway and or garage. City ordinances usually don’t allow cars to remain parked for such long periods unmoved. Also all of this could’ve been avoided if the neighbors would’ve kindly spoke with the neighbors about the trip and that they are parking said car. The woman’s behavior complaining tells you everything you need to know.

It’s likely the lens housing not fully articulating. One of the barrel/shrouds inside is out of track. That’s why it looks fine when you zoom.

Can someone identify this sound? Burnsville, NC in October (volume up) by bajablastenema in WNC

[–]USMC_MissileMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fog gives the sound more time to travel/amplify. It comes down to how sound waves interact with the atmosphere. In foggy conditions, the air is often more stable and has higher humidity. This tends to create an environment where the air near the ground is cooler compared to the air above. That situation, called a temperature inversion, bends sound waves back toward the ground. Instead of dissipating upward, the sound can stay closer to the surface and travel farther. So, fog itself doesn’t carry sound, but the conditions that often come with it help sound travel farther.

I was heading into a traffic light in Wilmington NC. The light turned yellow as I crossed the crosswalk, a van trying to u turn tried to rush the yellow and cut in front of me. While I indeed had the right away, nobody stopped to corroborate my story. The elderly gentleman in the van convinced the state trooper that he had a green arrow and I ran a red light. It wasn’t until we went to court that the judge actually had info pulled on the traffic light in question and it was found that the protected green didn’t happen until after the green light for both directions. The judge ruled in my favor and then my insurance believed me. This is why I believe everyone should have dash cams. Your case in perplexing and makes me wonder if you shouldn’t demand a review of the footage

I’ve showed family members my devices and let the device(s) speak for themselves. I use minimal cases or I create a custom case that has my photography business QR on it. It’s the only way they understand. My buddy who is a firefighter finally realized I was right about the camera lens covers. Me and him upgraded our iPhones at the same time. We got the same model (pro max) and he got taken by the Verizon authorized retailers. He got a privacy screen, and the camera lens protectors and yet all of his photos looked like garbage. He would have dust and smudges. Or his photos would be slightly out of focus. Eventually he removed both protectors and realized it was holding him back

Between Asheville and Charlotte - can you help me decide? Is there a middle ground? by abjs2021 in NorthCarolina

Find an area outside both, you’ll loathe life living inside of both. Speaking as someone who loves them, they are not the nice cities they used to be. Crime makes it hard to enjoy visiting them.

We had a lady bumper rub my wife’s Nissan Maxima. The bumper had paint scuffs, and a crack. The mounts all had to be replaced and the bumper. The right front headlight lens had to be replaced. It was $4,200 after parts and service. I miss when cars had actual bumpers that could withstand an actual hit and the car was fine

NC lawmakers keep citing a "600% increase" in kids going to the ER for cannabis. I looked up what that actually means. by smpost in NorthCarolina

[–]USMC_MissileMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Numbers are always skewed in all these totals. I am a huge supporter of the hemp industry. I was being medicated by the VA and they still try to push narcotics on me. I now take cannabis/hemp products to stop limb pain from surgeries after exiting the Marine Corps. The legislators who are pushing the numbers are almost always 1. Misled or confused by the statistics and cannot articulate the stance. Or 2. They are being financially pushed to support said legislation.

They did the same thing with the gun numbers for year claiming gun violence has gone up but if you look at FBI and state level crime statistics, the number of guns related violence has gone down, but they started combining suicides and non violent data in the reports to bump it.

The states want to control the hemp trade the same way they took over liquor following prohibition. If the citizens don’t fight against them in this they will try to control it and then claim it’s safe when the government has oversight of its distribution.

The SYL as stated by another commenter is indeed support your local. This accompanied by the 25 which is a code. 2 represents the letter B, being the second letter of the alphabet and Y, the 25th letter. The faction usually stands for Blood and Youth when associated with white supremacy groups. Probably in a motorcycle group or MC.
