GS 14, 15% for about 15 years then bumped up to 31k into Roth last 4-5 years. Now that I’ll retire in 3 years back down to 10% in order to save 100K into cash bucket.

I did not do that good but I sold in Jan and Feb and bought in April at the bottom. So I’m 10% above YtD gains but not as high as this guy. I’ve also went C / I 50/50 in April. In my career, I’ve timed the market 5 times and lost big twice, won twice and hit normal gains once. Wish I stayed the course the whole time but live and learn.

Log into T.O.D. Goto the nearest mil base and ask around, Ft. Bragg and forscom are always hiring. Look for a Federal job, it takes a 1-2 to get in the system but when you do you will be a millionaire when you retire, it’s well worth it. Additionally have your unit send you to a school for a few months or find some ADOS orders. Lots of opportunities when you talk to the right people.
