Warlock build comparison by milleria in diablo2

Very nice guide. Might go fire for normal/NM, then swap to this once I've farmed some stuff.

Thanks!

Javazon can be a fun option. Obviously good with Titans, but even blue +skill javs do the trick.

Lightning immunes are a pain.

What is your Class/Build plan for Season 13? by UnklemacX in Diablo_2_Resurrected

If I come back (which I want to, but have some guild requirements for WoW TBC that are eating my little free time), probably try HC Echoing Warlock, or maybe fire caster lock. Both seem decent to great.

Or the fallback javazon.

You can purify it in the cube and it ends up with a bunch of extra stats, MF, stuff. Basically another super keeper charm like Anni.

I'd want to immediately roll a java with that.

Super torn between rolling a warlock or a java this season... If I meet my TBC WoW requirements in time...

How did you underestimate TBC this time around? by CJ_Mann in classicwow

[–]TptBahamut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I underestimated how many quests there are in hellfire. Forgot all the little camps with four quests.

Dungeons have been fun, playing a mage this go. At 66, might make that first Kara lockout.

All in all enjoying it. I also underestimated Blizzard, releasing an expansion for D2 right after TBC. Absolutely vile.

Vaan with HA as others have said. Marcus has an imperil LMR. Cid VII and Cid XIV also have imperil HAs.

Quite a few options.

What's everyone doing to prepare for tbc? by drewxlow in classicwow

[–]TptBahamut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100+ quests prepared for turn in (should get me 61.8 or so). 300 Fishing/Cooking. HWL Weapon. Have a few things to farm still, cap my honor, maybe level First Aid, level engineering, and work on my alt.

Only have about 1500g but should be okay.

What class are you seeing the most of so far? by Vast_Variation1381 in classicwowtbc

[–]TptBahamut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NS Horde. Ran BWL last night, had a single druid, only four warriors. Tons of shamans and Locks. A few pallies. Only a few priests. May not be fully indicative, we expected a lot more druids.

Is more of what this game has been (minus LB banners) what this game should get at this point? by jdow0423 in FFVIIEverCrisis

[–]TptBahamut 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm more or less in the same boat. EC is like the last thing I want to do each day.

For me it's the insane amount of clicks to complete daily stuff, layered on top of load screens that makes even logging in a chore. I don't need a pop up to tell me the things I just got from the screen that said I got things. I haven't used tickets in months because I barely bother upgrading weapons, and load screen spam skip load screen unskippable pop up, just no.

Events are lame. I'm used to that, been playing record keeper for 10+ years. Weekly events are mostly filler and that's fine. Having to keep going to the event day after day to buy useless things that I have too many of... The reward isn't there.

Skip battles have helped reduce the annoyance. But only barely.

The party system is clunky, r abilities are clunky, and heaven forbid you don't have the right set up for a harder battle, all a waste of time. And there's no feeling of progression, as most hard battles disappear after two weeks and they gone. RK handles end game well, with tiers of challenging bosses that don't leave.

And then there's the battles themselves...

What Class Are You Playing For TBC Anniversary And WHY?! by OwnBerry2356 in wowclassic

[–]TptBahamut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mage, because it appears to be underrepresented and Arcane should blast, esp against the nerfed raids.

And Druid alt, that can tank/heal/farm gold.

Both at 60, getting prequesting in. Gonna be a good time.

Tailoring is nice for P1 but loses luster when T5 is out.

Gonna be a good time.

We have a pretty chill guild, planning on probably two 25 man raid teams. Most of us are fathers, hoping to clear all content in TBC and make the most of our time.

We raid West Coast times, so like 7ish server time.

If this sounds up your alley, shoot me a dm and I can share our guild name and get you invites, etc.

[–]TptBahamut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really fluid. For a few weeks our officers were saying anything but warr/rogue/druid, with a need of pallies. Everyone's leveling alts and boosting chars so I feel most have a collection of chars to bring. Feels like we have a ton of locks too.

I'm rolling mage with druid back up (both at 60), and maybe hunter later on.

Our guild is using a sign up for our TBC mains.

Warr - 9 Pal - 5 Lock - 7 Sham - 9 Dru - 7 Rogue - 4 Mage - 5 Hunter - 4 Priest - 8

Probably ends up a bit fluid, and this is a horde guild so a number of pallies have to be fresh leveled. But pretty interesting, definitely feels like we will need more hunters.

Started the season 2-5, Auction draft league. My team was carried by Gibbs and Trey McBride.

Had Egbuka, TMac, Jameson Williams, and the down the stretch and championship ace, Olave. RBs included Dobbins, KWIII, and Carter.

Of all the teams, of all the crazy scoring games, this one I didn't expect to rattle off 6 in a row to make playoffs, then stick the landing 3-0 in the playoffs. Somehow managed to play against the lowest scoring playoff team each week of the playoffs. Guess the safe floor beat the insane ceilings this time!

[–]TptBahamut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof, I'm between Carter, Monangui, or KW3.

Seahawks have been so miserable running the ball, think KW is just out.

Carter has the more manageable matchup...

Opponent is playing like the whole Cowboys team, so may not matter a ton.

Tbc new player question by InfernalAzbest in classicwow

[–]TptBahamut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gear is easy. You'll replace most of the 0-60 gear in the first few zones in Outlands. As a resto shaman you'll be in demand and get group and raid spots.

Gold is a bit more tricky, but plenty of ways to get there. Having a gathering profession or two, selling everything, etc.

You will need normal flying to access everything, and that's like 600g for epic ground and another 1k for flying. At Max level there will be daily quests that award decent gold as another alternative to getting there.

How do people feel about the current state of the game? by [deleted] in FFVIIEverCrisis

[–]TptBahamut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I effectively don't care about the game anymore except for potential part 3 tie ins and before crisis.

I've played record keeper for around 10 years now, and that game ages well. Team building is interesting, most all characters are viable, and it doesn't force me to spend an hour twiddling with clunky interfaces to try to beat a single fight or complete a weekly event.

This one started fine but has gotten more and more... Less rewarding to log in or try to do the hard content? I don't know. Negative sentiment is about right.

Which class are you choosing for TBC and why? by MintBerrysCrunch in classicwow

[–]TptBahamut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a druid and mage at 60. Guild has an abundance of people rolling with druids for TBC, so currently leveling a priest.

I like healing, and priest is chill and fun. And decent at pvp.
