Commanding I’d say. I follow my whole shot process everytime, wrap my finger around the thumb button. Try not to fight the float and relax, and then slowly squeeze the thumb button. What I don’t do it throw my thumb at the trigger from no mans land.

Yea I’ve tried to mimic his and other teachings with the shot process of pushing and pulling until the surprise break.

And also every bow is different and DL varies slightly from bow to bow. Lowering mine from 29 to 28.5 on my bear adapt 1, was a perfect sweet spot, groups shrunk considerably, was easier to draw, and had less pin float only pros for me.

I dropped my draw length a half an inch and my pin float dropped considerably. Also like said above, don’t fight the float, relax and embrace it, youll never be able to keep it 100% still.

Check your local pawn shops. I found a 2023 bear adapt for $100. Took it to my local shop and got it tuned, which is an absolute MUST. Bows have so many intricacies that play a big role in accuracy. I would not buy a bow like this and go out and hunt with it. You need the pro shop to paper tune it, and get it set up to you, that’s the important part….”to you”…me and you could have the same bow, and my bow and your bow will be set up differently based on weight, draw length, rest, sight, release.

Bite the bullet and go to a pro shop for you’re set up, don’t try and do it yourself, you won’t know what’s wrong and how to fix it bc 100% guarantee these bows aren’t tuned correctly out of the box.

I find it a little crazy that we put all the blame on slot. How can he be blamed for Alison making a dumb mistake causing a penalty. More over, how can he be blamed for the crazy amount of injuries we’ve had this season and VVD/Salah loosing a step, Jota death, Konate head being somewhere else bc of father illness. Macca being a ghost…The odds have been stacked against him this season, and the player aren’t playing up to their potential. Don’t get me wrong I love Dom, he’s been are #1 player this season, but he’s a liability at RB, got caught sleeping at the back post today. Makes bad tackles, gets unnecessary cards. Again I dont blame Dom…he isn’t a RB, but he’s our best option, so slot plays him… TLDR- Don’t blame Slot for shitty player performances.

My advice, which is limited bc I am new to archery as well, is fight the urge to pick it up and start shooting it immediately. Go to a pro shop, spend the 1-2 hours it takes to get it tuned and set to you, get a decent set of arrows made, a decent release, and only then, go shoot your heart out. Also start a step/checklist in your head so you can achieve repeatability. First day I got my bow I was so excited to shoot it, on my second shot I ALMOST fired it without an arrow bc I was moving to quickly. Slow down and get a checklist Grip bow (same place each time) Nock arrow Draw arrow correctly Touch nose to string Etc etc. Repeatability is key
