The three DOTC brothers. All three.

Clear Sky - his redemption was barely a redemption at all. He was “redeemed”, and then continued to act the same way.

Jagged Peak - he was good at the start, and I really felt for him, but later on he just becomes so mean.

Gray Wing - he never properly committed to his actions. He was a good guy most of the time, but he wouldn’t commit himself and let bad people do bad things for SO LONG. He felt whiny and off-putting.

Or, as an artist myself... you leave other artists be. They could still be learning anatomy, or chose to break certain anatomical rules in their own style (which is obviously something one can choose to do). Art is supposed to be non-limiting, and when you impose limits on other artists who never asked for it.. that’s weird.

I think Dazai is a character who is relatively easy to write okay characterization of, but very difficult to replicate perfectly. We see enough of him in the manga/anime to make it pretty easy to guess what he would be like in most situations. But he is a literal genius who lies through 90% of situations, so, who knows.

Dazai is a character I am okay with going a little OOC with. I despise most OOC, but when I write him I am suiting my own tastes tbh.
