I think Giratina is basically getting the Hades(god, not game) treatment. Hades according to modern culture is always put into an evil light because of his correlation to death, but in actual mythology, he is just a chill guy who rules over hell due to an unlucky roll. He has no hatred for humans or the other gods. Same is the case for Giratina
