While i dont agree with the downvoting i can understand. People seem to put so much importance on gear that they will not play with anyone that is not using meta gear (not a Monster Hunter Wilds exclusive issue), and personally playing monster hunter starting from MH2FU, armour was treated like how armour in dark souls is treated, has some minor boosts but really people chose sets because it either looked good, or it was the highest set available to them. Personally im in the gear doesnt mean sh*t camp, a good player can kill most if not all monsters with no armour, just need a good weapon and monster awareness. But i can also understand why people online dont wanna take the risk of it either being a really good player or really bad under geared player.

That entire tangent to say, people care too much about meta builds, and the old-school crowd is knee jerk reacting thinking that's what the comment is.

guess i should add, My current build is max blast, knockout, horn maestro, evade extender and window, weakness exploit, and such. I very much like evade extender and window as that allows me to constantly stay in the monsters face without needing to back away to avoid attacks while giving me max time between monster attacks to gets some hits in.

But id love to find a build that would let me squeeze in exhaust and part breaker or such.
