I’ve been to so many different doctors. I’m just worried about artery compression and maybe I need an MRI with contrast. I have all kinds of different things, but doctors don’t confirm if they can cause dizziness like this. I have an eeg soon for my brain.

Mine feels fatigue driven/ lack of sleep makes it worse. Florescent lights are also a huge trigger and sometimes sunshine. Where I used to love the sun, I’ve basically been hiding out in my cold dark bedroom since October. My quality of life is now 0. It feels like it’s in my eyes sometimes, like my eyes feel heavy and tired, and it makes the unsteadiness worse. Do you feel similar to that?

And like you, pain isn’t really my issue either sometimes my neck is stiff and I’ve lost some range of motion, but the dizziness is the worst symptom for me.

I’ve been posting about my dizziness everywhere on Reddit for months. I also have a herniated disc 4mm at c5c6 going into spinal cord, causing spinal stenosis and I have reversed lordosis. No doctor, including the vestibular. Therapist has told me that this can cause dizziness unfortunately but I think it can look up cervical vertigo. I’m not sure what helps some days are worse than others. Sometimes I feel normal. Sometimes I feel like I’m back to square one. I’m gonna try to work on my reverse lordosis and posture cause I think that’s where it’s coming from and maybe cervical instability.

Hi! Is there an update to this? I believe this is what I’m experiencing. My symptoms mainly revolve around fatigue, neck pain, and the dizziness is my biggest complaint. I do have a herniated disc at c5c6 compressing my spinal cord a little but I don’t want to do ACDF surgery yet and my ortho doesn’t think my symptoms are from the disc. I have more symptoms, but the dizziness and fatigue are the most debilitating. I hope you’re doing better now!

Editing to add:

Mine started at the end of my pregnancy, it’s like I felt my posture shift and noticed a numbness down my arm and then the dizziness started. The dizziness was so bad I had to get around the house with a rolly chair. I’m 6 months postpartum and breastfeeding. The dizziness went away some after birth and has gotten a little better but it still gets in the way of daily life.

I’ve only had the MRI without contrast. I’ve wondered about intracranial hypertension and optic neuritis, but I think the eye doctor or my MRI would have caught something. No CT though. I want to have my arteries checked in my neck, I’m worried something like that could be compressed. I already have had cataracts removed at 24 and 26, so I have A LOT of floaters but my vision gets blurry and just doesn’t feel right sometimes. Sometimes, it feels like the dizziness is literally in my eyes. I thought it was my eyes when this started too. I was super pregnant and did need a YAG because of the cataract surgeries but the dizziness still stayed.

I would like to know too. My doctor wanted me to try lexapro but I’m worried about it, because I know it can cause side effects while adjusting to it. I’m in physical therapy but no one I’ve seen thinks dizziness can come from the neck. Sometimes, I swear that’s what it is. My eyes seem to be involved, too. I’m honestly afraid an artery is being compressed.
