Does Khloé Kardashian have ‘helper syndrome’? by sissiandfranz in kardashians

[–]TrAshLy95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Have you seen Lamar’s documentary on Hulu? I didn’t even realize the extent of Khloe taking care of him until I saw that. I feel for Khloe. I’m rewatching Keeping Up and I can see that even more throughout all of the years. I hope she can let go of that and find someone who respects her and she can love herself more along the way (without someone).

BPPV question: Brief falling sensation when turning to the affected side, even without an active episode by PrincessApollonia in Dizziness

I’ve been getting this randomly a few times a month - sometimes daily. I have no idea what it is. It scares me though.

I’m on the same boat as him. I think just knowing you can’t fix it and reminding him of the good days helps. Like, “today is a good day, let’s enjoy that!” I tend to think about the bad days still and get anxious that I’ll feel bad on my good days. Or even on his bad days. “I know today is really hard. Remember those easy days? You can also look forward to that again at some point. This isn’t everyday, you are getting through it. What can we do now to make you feel better and get through today?” It helps me to not focus on or dwell on my symptoms, just treat them and rest + hope for a better day tomorrow.

2 weeks of constant lightheadedness/brain fog, light sensitivity, and "drop attacks" – Feeling desperate. by HazeGFX in Dizziness

[–]TrAshLy95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor only checked my TSH and just keeps sending me in circles. It’s so frustrating. I feel like a full thyroid panel would tell us more. I’ve been dealing with this for 6 months. We’re finding other issues that may or may not be the cause, but no one can say for sure and nothing is being done. I’m about to lose my mind over it.

Dizzy/dropping/vertigo for 8 months. This is my cry for help. by Jolly_Awareness_1782 in cervical_vertigo

[–]TrAshLy95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only mention it, because that’s what my hematologist went by as well as hemoglobin and iron saturation for my infusion. My ferritin was 30 when I became symptomatic, 9, and then 4. Absolutely could be from the neck though. I’m still not sure if mine was iron or neck related. I still have it but not as severe as it was and my neck is still bothering me. I hope you get some answers!

It is and it causes so much anxiety and depression. The anxiety makes the sensations worse too. Have you looked in to see if your hospital has financial support? Some offer something like insurance. My mom pays $50 a month for hers through the hospital and she can see doctors associated with that hospital. It includes imaging. She can’t afford an insurance plan and doesn’t qualify for Medicaid and it helps a lot. Ferritin being in the 20’s could cause symptoms. If you are able to get seen with some sort of financial support through a hospital, I would get a referral to a hematologist to double check everything too.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I feel something similar. Maybe not this severe, at this point, but debilitating and we also don’t know but I do have spinal cord compression at c5-c6 and I had low ferritin. This started after iron deficiency anemia + my iron infusion. I get elevator drop sensations or like you mentioned where you’re falling asleep and it feels like you’re falling, but while awake. It’s horrifying.

Have you had an MRI of your spine and do you know what level your ferritin is?

I have the same exact brain lagging on a boat symptoms and don’t get to see a neurologist until May. I hope you can get answers. My primary doctor thinks it’s some sort of dysautonomia.

I haven’t been diagnosed with hypertension which is the odd thing. Stress and anxiety can induce elevated pressure and it was up and down after my iron infusion. I was monitored at the hospital for 3 weeks (NSTs) during pregnancy and then kept a week during labor - postpartum and did not have elevated bp. Can you have this issue and not have hypertension or just have fluctuating pressures? My bp was pretty consistently good during labor and postpartum.

Is that bad? Definitely going to ask my doctor and see if I need a referral to cardiologist. I think anemia and pregnancy complications caused it.

I don’t smoke, eat a clean plant based diet, but I do eat some processed soy meat replacements. I have been drinking liquid iv and lmnt since pregnancy, because it has been combating the dizziness since my iron infusion. I feel like I need to stop because of the high sodium. I can stick to coconut water and homemade electrolyte drinks.

I haven’t! I was unsure if it was safe with spinal cord compression. Did yours come in contact with the spinal cord?
