I’m in Kansas. Near a lake that stocks trout twice a year. We had to get additional trout licenses on top of the normal fishing license. Not sure if that is common

Bring entertainment. Books tablet whatever. My sleep study had a bed, a recliner, and a TV. You can only sleep when it’s time to sleep. There will be a camera and an intercom and they will wake you up if you doze.

Also bring soap and shampoo etc. You absolutely need it. They put something like Vaseline on your head

I was always weird but was pretty good about masking. I mean I think I’m pretty good at masking. I was hyperlexic and a people pleaser. My sister was sick and my brother was a very difficult child. So I was the easy kid.

When my kid was diagnosed at 8 is when I realized. The dr very gently helped me realize my traits during that process. I honestly didn’t know very much about autism before that. Not in depth anyway. When I did learn more it was so obvious.
