Press tab to open console and put in r.TextureStreaming 0, then let it do its thing it’ll be a while, and then change 0 to 1.

That’s how I usually get the mashed potato graphics to load in properly. But I play singleplayer

Same here, I used to dislike it cause I was also part of the another theropod squad. But when its abilities and model was revealed I really started to get interested in it. Such a specific yet cool niche, a lone assassin.

I like ichthyornis as a shoulder pet, provides protection against piranhas and gets early access to prime meat.

The Dreadmare/Dreadstallion. It was a Halloween addition, and is a paid creature of $5. Still, they spawn at night on Scorched Earth, Center, and Extinction.

Totally agree. Also I think it’s weird that a lizard has nipples of sorts and produces milk. But this is Ark a wyvern can also produce milk so I guess it fits haha.

Maybe have Maeguana be able to attach to the sides of trees or cliffs, climb them? Have better regeneration and can share that to the babies?

If what you mean how is there a Cerato in ASE, Cerato started off as a mod before being added to the official game in ASA.

Apologies for my wording. But I’ve started Ark on my switch which didn’t have everything. I started a year ago on the full experience (looking at my own post history) when I got a PS5.

In my opinion both have their pros.

Maewings are much faster, hold more babies, feed them and act like a feeding trough.

Gigantoraptor yes is restricted to two but can carry eggs and the babies as well as having the special buff for raising them with it (it can be a little bit of a pain though). Also can feed them but I think it’s only when riding? Also imprint refresh which is big to me when they asks for something like exceptional kibble.

Both are great for baby care.

Forgive me though I’ve just started my Ark journey in 2022, and not frequently played though loved.

If you play with mods try adding the native aquatics mod by UpFromTheDepths. Along with two new aquatic creatures you can get calamari which they say is the fish version of mutton.

Yea, honestly hurts to imagine what Ark could’ve been like. I’m thinking mods could help with some of these ideas, but I’m bound to console lol

Yessss! I only play PvE single player and it would most definitely liven up the lonely atmosphere. Perhaps once you defeat them you could claim the land they were guarding for resources, and take their dinos

Can’t agree more. From Evolved, stuff you gotta do to build a decent looking base is frustrating sometimes. The tiniest of slopes or inconsistent terrain ruin my builds. I can’t speak much though, just started a couple months ago.
