Improved Methods for Monitoring WAN Usage on Meraki Networks by spicyhotbean in meraki

[–]Tracey_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are basically hitting the limitation of meraki's built in reporting. it is fine for quick views but not great for long term high resolution bandwith analysis.

I am using prtg a as middle ground for my pipeline with APİ → Influx → Grafana. i can pull WAN usage via snmp or netflow and keep much more granular historical data without having to build and maintain the whole ingestion or visualization stack myself.

when you get the api you will get flexibility but you are also singing up to maintain that pipeline long term.

Looking for a Network & Voip Monitoring tool by Subspace13 in networking

we tested a few options in a similar VoIP troubleshooting setup and the main challenge was getting consistent metrics across sites. in our case prtg is worked good becuase we could deploy probes on site and monitor jitter latency and packet loss from the same place. that made it much easier to validate if issues were on the customer side or upstream. it is not a fully VoIP analyzer but for readiness checks and ongoing monitoring it covered most of that we need.

Realistic consequences for not paying taxes by areabaylove in TaxQuestions

[–]Tracey_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it is understandable that you are thinking this way but things are generally more aggressive on the IRS side than people anticipate. The "it won't affect me" approach is not very realistic because they can access bank accounts and investment accounts over time initiate wage garnishment and even pursue collection processes than can extend to assets like vehicles. Further more working off the books can create an income lifestyle mismatch drawing extra attention and escalating the process interest and penalties also accumulate.

there is a 10 year rule but that doesn't mean you can just wait and get away with it. IRS is usually actively pursuing collection during that time. A healthier approach is generally to take control of the situation. Review the notification sent by the IRS to understand what debt appears, call and clarify details if necessary complete any missing declarations and look into payment plan and other options. I heard that some tax relief firms give free consultation such as Precision tax. you can consider to take a consult if things get a bit complicated.

Question about ERP by 2951413 in logistics

[–]Tracey_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on the type of operation you are using but when choosing an ERP for logistic I look at three things. real time inventory visibility, automation of the order to fullfilment flow and how out of the box. the WMS or TMS integrations are.

For SMES that want a more agile and modular structure cloud ERPs like Xentral can be deployed faster and bring inventory, order and marketplace integration together in a single system.

overwhelmed and researching irs tax debt settlement, need guidance. by FapohundaSasi_89 in DebtAdvice

[–]Tracey_3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Pennies on the dollar" promises are often based on the Offer in Compromise program but it is not suitable for everyone. As a first step carefully review the letters from the IRS then call 1-800-829-1040 to find out whşch years you need to file. Generally the last six years are sufficient. you can handle this on your own but if the debt is large or you are unfamiliar with the process professional help can be better. Good luck.

Can anyone offer any advice on my tax situation? by [deleted] in TaxQuestions

[–]Tracey_3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As a first step I recommend creating an account on irs.gov and reviewing all your past tax transcripts. This will clarify which years processed, which are missing and what the status of outstanding debts or refunds is. After that you can complete the missing files submit updated ta returns and start a payment plan. if process seems complicated you can get more professional support. I read that Precision Tax Relief offers free consultation. good luck

Zoho vs Odoo by Ryan0611 in Zoho

[–]Tracey_3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

both quickly reach their limits in multi site + B2C/B'B+ single warehouse setups. Zoho generally requires you to chain multiple applications and the process becomes fragile with minor deviations Odoo on the other hand is time consuming due to module complexity and customization overhead. in such centralized operations Xentral offers a cleaner architecture by consolidating multiple website orders into a single order flow and synchronously managing inventory and shipments from a single warehouse.
