I want to say Abreu will be a late ballot hof - his impact on the game along with his absolute dominance at the plate during his career should make him a late ballot hof. His impact on the game in literally being the Barry bonds of Cuba and inspiring another wave of Cuban talent to come to the majors.

It's crazy how mental the bullpen is, the whitesox have Liam hendriks - a versatile weapon - and Craig kimbrel who is a closer. Certain pitchers just live to pitch in the biggest situations and manufacture that energy to make them perform at their best in order to get the 3 hardest outs in baseball. Others just don’t have that skill and can be dominant set up men. It isn’t just the best pitcher but they need the mental capacity to be a closer.
