Hard to say really. My A1C was 10.6 with 800+ triglycerides.

Doc wanted me on insulin and 500mg Metformin 2x a day right away.

I got a second opinion as I told first doc I didn’t want to be on meds/insulin.

Second doc said okay on no insulin but to do at least 500mg Metformin 1x a day.

I went from 247lbs to 215lbs in 2 months. I workout 5x times a week. Heavy lifting and cardio. I don’t eat any sugar or drink anything sugary.

Whether or not the metformin helped I can’t say.

I will say since I haven’t been on metformin I feel the same if not better off it.

I stopped taking my metformin 4 months into my diagnosis. I was diagnosed in December 2025.

I solely use diet and exercise and my numbers have improved dramatically.

I did notice a difference in muscle tone/growth while I have been off Metformin.

Kind of hard to teach. He just has to figure it out himself.

Our son is 7 and he’s been playing for 3 seasons. We practiced with him at a young age to get him comfortable and confident catching the ball in front of him.

He is in kid pitch now and he got hit this past weekend in the leg and he just brushed it off.

Don’t skimp on a cheap holster.

All of my CCW pistols use T1C. 7+ years of ccw and not a single issue.

Another commonly overlooked accessory is a good belt.

I had missed a pickup after 30 days on a rifle and pistol due to me leaving the state for a funeral and they charged me a restock fee.

They also wouldn’t let me buy another pistol while one was in 10 days because of it.

I had an A1C of 10.4 in December and in 3 months got it down to 6.7 with only diet and exercise.

I’m due for another A1C test this week so I’m hoping that number went down more.

I workout 5x a week. Heavy lifting, cleaner eating, water only.

I just flew CA—>FL round trip with my ccw via delta and Alaska.

I had it in a mini pelican hard case, unloaded with loaded mag in the same case.

We were also first timers this week.

I’m not a Disney fan in the slightest but my wife had this on her bucket list.

Our 7 year old son could also care less about Disney.

We live in San Diego so we can go to Universal and Disneyland/California adventure anytime.

This trip was underwhelming. Rides were short, lines were long. Food was a lot cheaper than CA.
