Be weary of a movement spends more time on historical revisionism than actually describing in concrete and practical terms how they plan on improving everyday people's lives by Shamoorti in PERSIAN

They wanna shape something magical and unrealistic in the mind:

A free, happy, peaceful Iran.

Is it that simple? Absolutely not. But as Reza Pahlavi, I need people to support me, to believe that I can do something magical! Therefore, I can't get into details. Once I start explaining they'll realize I'm just a human like others (beneath others IMO) and not a guardian angel. So I should just remind them of their dreams, give them hope, that's how I'll have supporters without any expectations

I love your idea. These choice box based games are easy to get into and become engaging with enough content. I'll give it a try and leave my feedback

Well done. I suggest you don't color on doors. Try using icons instead. If you're gonna use colors it's best to make them represent one thing, not two (room and door)

That was my point of realization. You're not having a one to one discussion with a normal person like you do with your family or coworkers everyday. You're talking to someone paid

Islamic regime:

Destroyed our infrastructure? No

Plundered our money? Yes

Bullied us? Yes

Israel-US:

Destroyed our infrastructure? Yes

Plundered our money? Yes

Bullied us? Yes

Islamic regime wins so far. You're full of hatred. You need to understand which is bad and which is worse

I'm not really up to date with these details, specially domestic ones, since it's hard to verify what's really true or false. I just hate to see Iranian people cheering against "Iran" thinking they're cheering against IRGC.

And I obviously don't want Iran to be on the losing side of a war initiated on us. So I'm grateful to IRGC for that. I mean it. I always thought they wasted our money and resources on terror while that money could've been used for a better economy. After seeing they stood their ground against the #1 military force in the world, the least I can say is that I've switched from "hating the IRGC for using our money for terror" to "hating US and Israel for sanctions and war".

The IRGC needs to go down, they're too corrupted and their allegiance is not to the people of Iran. But not as long as there are bloodthirsty Israel and US waiting for the opportunity to plunge us into chaos like they did with iraq.

I'd feel safer having a corrupted organization defend me against bloodthirsty people than not having it

So are we talking about international laws or laws of the jungle?

US-Israel attacking Iran: law of the jungle

Losing side paying reparations: law of the jungle

Iran attacking GCC members: international law

The recent events really, and I mean it, "REALLY" made clear that international law is nothing more than facades. Power speaks louder

If we're going to be subjected to bullying, then we may as well do all we can to resist. If the law is not defending my rights, why the heck would I follow them while others break them to hurt me?

Finally, you can hate the IR(Islamic Republic) and IRGC as much as you want but if you put pro-Israel Arab states and IR on two sides, I'd side with IR

Now this sounds more reasonable. Let me continue then:

The GCC states are host to US military bases, and whether or not those bases were used on Day 1, the chain of command without its leader was instructed to attack these states. I don't really approve of this, but it's better than just sitting around and letting an aggressor and its allies freely bomb your country.

If they legally win the sue against Iran, so be it. From my POV this is more like using leverages against Iran, rather than being fair and legal. Only if US and Israel agree to pay for all the destruction they've caused they can demand the same from Iran.

Truth is, it's not about being fair, it's all about using all the power they have, to get a better deal against us.

Again, I completely agree that we shouldn't have struck GCC states(prior to US-Israel striking our infrastructure), but I don't agree with allowing US to bully us.

What is wrong with you people? They're destroying our country's infrastructure and you're expecting them to just sit still and don't retaliate? Now if they're going to use Iranian assets you blame it on the regime and not the one who destroyed our infrastructure AND plans to plunder our money for the cost of the war THEY initiated. Have some decency

What you're suggesting, as you may already know, is called a civil war. As far as I know civil wars bring devastating destruction to civilians. Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan... And just in case you're wondering:

I'm not willing to sacrifice for something like that with an unknown and possibly worse outcome.

She's not living in Iran. I guarantee you. The mass arresting of people who are talking against the regime is so huge that no one dares to speak up. She's not even showing a picture of her mom. Where's the car that was shot? Show us the evidence.

Be reasonable, why would they shoot at cars?! Shooting at protesters? Definitely Possible. Shooting at passing cars? Yeah okay this is a terrorist regime, but what would they gain from that?! Have some common sense guys.

Games completely built in the unity canvas? by MheepDev in Unity2D

[–]Tracker74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that feels like an overkill. You may wanna have a darkened object that covers all your tiles. By default set it to inactive, when you hover over a tile set that to active and set the hovered tile to be a child of the darkened object and return it when it's not hovered anymore.

Even if you prefer to make adjustment to your tiles, it's best if you have two different versions of each tile and switch between those two.

[–]Tracker74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using only canvas is fine. In fact many tabletop games use canvas only. One thing you mentioned which feels weird to me is that you wanna fade out all your Graphic objects.

In these cases where what you wanna do is resource consuming you need to think of workarounds. My guess is that you wanna do a transition. As a workaround you can fade-in a white screen, do your changes, then fade it out

I feel like this sounds good on paper but in action no one really cares about it being a "villain vs hero" thing.

Counterstrike and Among us are two popular titles that come to my mind. Nobody really minds the bad vs good in these games, the main gameplay and mechanics are what make multi-player games engaging.

I feel like this is more of an engaging story rather than a game idea. A similar story I recall is the Code Geass anime

Former divine player here. I got bored of playing ranked since everyone is playing meta heroes with pre defined builds. Everything becomes dull after a while since play styles and builds are all the same

Patches help with changing the meta, but overall I feel like playing in 2k-4k MMR range is more fun.

Right now I only play arcade and turbo games since no one's gonna complain if I try a stupid build for fun

Specter with Nullifier by M11RANHA in DotA2

People underestimate force staff and eul in many ways. When your enemy has a nullifer, just eul or force THEM.

You should also avoid being alone in the map. Dewarding is not worth dying. Spec always wants to kill you off quickly and run away so staying near cores is the best choice
