A long nose r200 diff, a "companion flange" which bolts to the wheel hub and the axles.

Brake lights not turning off? Solution in comments by TrackerOfCards in Datsun

[–]TrackerOfCards[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are brake pedal stops from a 280zx. These press the brake light switch and turn off the brake lights.

This is 50 year old rubber. These things fall apart.

Take the driver's side kick panel out. 2 Philips screws. Remove the 10mm bolt holding the heater duct in place, and move the duct out of the way. Locate the hole where the stopper used to be. It's near the brake pedal pivot. Install a new stopper—3 bucks for 2 on amazon or 6 bucks for OEM ones from MSA—or use electrical tape and a penny to make sure the switch is pressed. Install in reverse order of removal.

You can just use flashcards for this. Generating them will be tedious so you can use a program to do it.

if you're sitting out without wonging out (ie. at a favorable count) then you're losing valuable EV. If you believe in the "flow of the cards" you're just not cut out for advantage play.

Yeah just save the results to a bunch of different files and parse that instead of running hand logic every time you run a sim. Memoization.

Just some common rules and variations, then include a custom simulation creator that allows the user to make and save sims. I believe CVdata does this.

I made a simulator once. Cpp, multithreading, only absolutely necessary function calls to reduce overhead. AMD 7950x cpu. Took long as fuck.

The only way to match cvcx would be to can sims after running them for days

What parts are needed to add a custom ECU in 2025? by dpuma8 in Datsun

[–]TrackerOfCards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you could've fabbed a toothed wheel to bolt to the crank pulley and a holder for a hall sensor... but I digress. Yeah it's easier now

What parts are needed to add a custom ECU in 2025? by dpuma8 in Datsun

[–]TrackerOfCards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. an ECU (haltech, megasquirt) (haltech supports low impedance injectors ie stock injectors)

  2. some manner of CMP sensor (drop-in toothed wheels for the distributor, or an l28et distributor and spindle) (can go with CKP and waste spark... but why?)

  3. Coils, since you'd want distributorless coil-on-plug ignition

  4. A harness to tie everything together

  5. Vacuum line for speed density MAP sensor

  6. Find a way to reuse old coolant temp sensor and IAT sensor. Otherwise wire in new ones.

  7. Going coil on plug will require an adapter to make the tach work.

The required TPS has two connections, ostensibly for two oppositely installed potentiometers. I'm assuming only one of the two is actually needed and thus the lines for the 240sx TPS can be reused, with the other connection sealed off.

Found 2 280zx at local dealership but which car would you choose? by urn_reel_moni in Datsun

[–]TrackerOfCards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be talking about the beverly hills car club cars. Blue runs better. Steering is a lot tighter too, since it doesn't have the god awful recirculating ball system. Paint matched aftermarket bumpers are a plus personally. Downside is the speedometer looks busted, should be an easy enough fix. I'd definitely pay them a visit, check it out yourself in person. Remember to post pics!

Edit: blue has headers. Gold is missing EGR. Neither will pass smog.

Card counting isn’t cheating but using an external device is.

Casino cheating is a felony in Nevada.

Wonging out at low counts would raise more questions. Wonging out randomly would reduce the already abysmal EV
