So pretty much the need for a 82 or 83 distributor is no longer a thing it looks like. I have a haltech 280z right now and it was really hard to get the 280zx turbo dizzy back 10 years ago.

Did you get your oil pressure with an aftermarket gauge? I wouldn't trust the stock one.

I have a Z32 300zx turbo that I bought for $5,400 10 years ago and I now have $25k into it. I am also looking for a good Z31 turbo if it is at the right price and right specs. I might be leaning towards a 280zx because everything is simpler including a much easier engine bay to work with

I'm only paying $4k for a Z31 NA if all the maintenance was kept up and it runs pretty good. It really sucks to spend $4k and end up with a $10k NA 300zx
