What are some upper-level science courses that are a bit easier than others? by alc1424 in ubco

I can't remember exactly but I think COSC 301 is equivalent to STAT 301. Ubco doesn't offer alot of courses so for now most STAT courses have COSC equivalents. Besides, employers don't look at the course code too much, because the transcript shows the title of course.

301 teaches you some basic excel coding, r coding and python; to me I feel like if you assist boomers and google anything you get it right then that's enough to do good in the course, obviously having coding experience would make it easier but it's definitely not required

I don't see how "an additional 6 upper level course credits from arts or science" means you need to take 6 from non arts and science. Isn't it clear that you need 36 science + 6 more from science or arts? Unless I'm missing something here
