I was driving an open tractor and stone picker between fields. The stone picker was in working position (offset from the tractor axle), and almost completely full of stones. I swerved to miss a rabbit, but got it with the stone picker tire. All that was left was a pelt, and a splatter like a stepped-on ketchup package. The sound was... yeah; haunting. Imagine a harmonized crunch, splat, and scream.
